Pogba's social media post was a scheduled event - Neville and .Rossi take note!

I'm all about players being mature and disciplined and would usually feel annoyed about something like this but, you know what? Feck it. Mourinho was such an unusually toxic manager, I'm ok with players rubbing his nose in what happened.

He chose to turn this season into an unfair personal battle between him and the players. He was constantly belittling them, while they were not allowed to speak up for themselves. What goes around comes around. Prick.

While I agree, players should probably pretend to be the bigger men. And in that particular case, I'm not even sure about what that post was about, it could be a message related to Mourinho and that would be disappointing or it could be a simple promotion.

A bit silly but feck me, imagine being managed by someone like Mourinho. I'd feel like having a pop too. Still, he should show some professionalism and has no excuses now if he doesn't perform. He's talking the talk, best walk the walk.

Obviously the two didn't get along. In the eyes of Pogba Mourinho did cost him at least one half of a season, it could have been more. Pogba must have been relieved af that the club put a stop to it, otherwise it could have severly damaged his reputation of a professional athlete.

I think Ronaldo and Hazard had felt similiarly. Personally i don't like it but i get where they're coming from. There're two sides of the story here.

Pogba putting a good case forward on why he should prob fck off aswell.. Quality player but his professionalism is awful at times. Whatever manager coming in will see that and think 'is he worth the hassle?'
Seriously people what is wrong with you?
People laughing at it, lapping it up, writing, "Go on Paul haha"

They're just as big a wanker as he is.

That is not how you conduct yourself as a Manchester United player.

Classless, Disrespectful and immature. That is not what this club was built on

Goes for Mourinho too

What a classless piece of shit.

To be honest, Mourinho was singling out and scapegoating Pogba all season, I think Pogba's earned the right to have a dig back.

Somebody described it aptly for me. If the majority of fans are feeling so happy and relieved after his departure imagine how the players who were in regular contact with him must be feeling now.

Exactly. It is petty but it's rich for people outside the club to judge how the players act in response to this. They're the ones who have been under this wanker.

This. Whilst I can see it being 'immature' - I can also see how relieved he must be feeling (and the whole team).

Some of our fans really are desperate to hate him

Cos he doesn't help himself. I don't mind the guy,m he has all the talent in the world and seems behind the scenes players like him and so do young fans and he always seems to have time for them.

His problem is that he just does stupid stuff like this and then goes on to not back up his talk most the time. It's incredibly frustrating. I don't really mind this post myself but the timing seems a bit daft. The players (or whoever is doing his social media) must of been told what was happening so it just seems silly timing that will annoy people.

He himself is a brand and it's fair he will keep building that beyond United but it's also fair to say it will annoy people as well.

Even if all of that were true (and tbh, it is), it’s still pretty classless isn’t it? There’s plenty of world class players who’ve had issues with their manager who subsequently got sacked and didn’t feel the need to be so classless.

It's mental how many in here have no grasp on what's happened. Nothing bad. It's been said multiple times and people are still replying as such. It's a scheduled post by a social media team.

Mourinho might be guilty of a lot of things but unless Pogba shows an immediate improvement in his attitude, there’s no reason why the next manager should treat him any different.

Then he is more stupid than i thought if he doesnt know his own password either.
I don't think you're familiar with celebrity social media accounts. They're managed by PR professionals. Most publications are scheduled in advance via automation programs.

Well, Pogba got what he wanted. If the piece of trash doesn't show it on the field now, then we'll all know he isn't all he thinks he is. Hopefully follows Mou out the door in the near future, we don't need overpaid dabbing prima donnas in Manchester United.

What’s wrong with you? How is it not classless? I absolutely understand why he’s so happy now and why he was so pissed off over the last few months, and I agree with it because Mourinho was a toxic waste of space. But damn, if you can’t see why this post by Pogba is classless and unnecessary then genuinely that’s not even a football related point but just a general human actions point.

It was on Twitter too

What exactly is wrong with that?

Get a grip. It's not him.

Definitely possible this is just an unfortunate coincidence and yeah, you would ideally want the players to be above this sort of thing. I just think Mourinho must have been an absolutely infuriating prick to play for, with the way he spends every press conference throwing the players under the bus. So I wouldn't rush to judge any of them if they do struggle to contain their joy at him getting the sack.

'Piece of trash'?

Immature, classless, and completely self indulgent. Much like 99% of his performances this far. Hopefully he picks his toys back up and starts to perform now. But seriously, this type of thing does nothing to improve the situation at the club.
