Might suit both parties if the can work out some sort of deal cause it's not working out here. Don't buy the 'down tools' nonsense cause if that's the case, there's a lot of other players that are doing the same including DDG. I do think there's an uncertainty about the future and maybe some of the players recognise that there's been a few false dawns and maybe view this time as an opportunity to try something new, rather than the rhetoric of yet another season us needing 5/6 players...

If he wants to go, I don't want him here. We need players that are ready to step up and give 100% for the club, and if Pogba doesn't bother to pull up his sleeves and show his abilities he can f*** off to Madrid. The same goes for other players that have had agents nagging about salary and new contracts, like De Gea, Martial and Lukaku. De Gea is the only player that has been world class for us over time, but the rest are replaceable.

both robertson and alex-arnold only have 1 assist less than Pogba. this shows how ineffective the fecker has been. if he wants to go to real madrid, let him leave. i have had enough of these mercenaries turning up
for the club only when they feel like it. these snakes are only making a mockery of the passion of ordinary fans, people who pay a lot of money to follow the club, without the huge salaries that people like Pogba are sucking from the club

Not bothered anymore. As long as the money is good and is re-invested in the squad he can go tomorrow.

Whilst Barca have Messi, and Madrid don't have a player remotely near his class he'll also achieve little there, especially if his interest in actual football continues on the same path it has at United.

£175M and they can have him.

Genuinely not bothered anymore if he wants to leave. He’s been so damn inconsistent for us and seems to only play to his full potential and ability when he feels like it. F*** him!

I remember I got shouted down at for suggesting that United would sack Mourinho for Pogba and Pogba will leave anyways some months ago...
Was all Mourinho's fault for how he was etc

Not important who is right or wrong, just saying...

Pogba will stay. Real doesn't have enough money to buy him. Real is probably going to sign Hazard and some other mediocre players and that will be that.

Bit of a flop if truth be told, if there is substance in this

Wait... believing Marca as gospel for Madrid rumours??? Oh Rossi

No wonder you poor guys are so confused.

I said IF there is substance in it...

When does the transfer window end?
Why even bother posting it? we all know what Marca are like. There's going to be many more articles like this trying to unsettle us.

If things like this rattle you, you've got a long window to worry about. If he leaves then I guess you'll be happy, we just have to see what happens.

1 thing for sure, we won't be better without him.

If he wants to go let him off. We can see that his heart is not here lately in his performances. It seems as if he has been got at by Real and this will not be good for us.

We need players who are playing for the badge on the field now, not players who's minds are set on a transfer this summer. We are fighting for a place in the Champions League and we need everyone to give 120% for the next 6 games.

The fact that he can't be arsed to dismiss the rampant rumours strongly suggests that there is at least some truth in the rumours.

It was reported when he signed for us that the player had wanted to go to Spain, but that it was in fact Raiola who in the end persuaded him to park himself at United, primarily because we were desperate at the time and therefore the financial rewards for Pogba and his agent could potentially be immense. In exchange, Raiola promised he'd get Pogba his move to Spain after three years. Raiola made £22.8m in the deal, but now the three years are up and he's trying to keep his promise.

Are Marca reliable when it comes to Real Madrid or United related rumours? Did not Ole say that PP is an important player for him?
This, however, does not mean that Paul has been below his best lately. Maybe taking part in a long WC is taking it's toll. I am 99% confident that Pogba will be wearing United's shirt next season.

Doesn't rattle me.
My opinion of him as a footballer is known and he doesn't particularly care about United. Which is fine, I've no problem with that if that is how he or anyone else is.
Just don't expect me to shed tears when he or any of the rest of the current crop go.

Any idea how much his petulant behaviour and Lingard's acting the clown hurts me, when I see Liverpool and City battling it out for the league?

I'm certain he's gonna go because that is the kind of footballer he is and the type of scum his agent is.

If he stays, I'll donate 50 quid to a charity of your choice.
If he goes, you can do something for me

It was also reported Pogba wanted to go back to United. Depends what angle you're going for I guess.

Most worrying thing about those rumours is that we are very keen on Bale, apparently. Hopefully for that reason alone it's rubbish.

Are you the person who was offended and angry over Lingard dancing?

Why are you hurt over Lingard having a personality?

Honestly I don't care if he leaves or stays. He always has a good spell of 2 months or so and then fades away, I don't think you can build a team around player like that. If we get good money and invest it smartly towards new players, I think we would be better. And just please please please stay away from Bale and other Real Madrid players who are way past their best.

If he was making the contribution that Milner is making for Liverpool then probably. Jesse is an overgrown kid, he's just Jesse.

Well I was talking solely about personality off the pitch, seeing as for some bizarre reason this place is so angry about it. Which in itself is laughably childish, which is ironic.

I have nothing against his personality as such, he is not a sulker, actually seems a very nice guy. I prefer his personality in a way to Paul Pogba's.

Something doesn't sit right with me if Pogba does indeed want to leave. He's gone to war with Jose and between them messed up a whole season, wasting supporters time and money. Then Jose gets removed and Pogba wants to leave anyway? He's the biggest cnut going if that's the case and fans should be annoyed.

Your best player would want to.leave if:

- your idiot manager benches him - fixed
- your team doesn't win shite - checked
- there are bigger clubs in the world - checked
- you do not get ucl - almost checked
- investment and ambition of the club - almost checked(maybe he and his agent know that we won't spend shite in the summer)
- wants a bigger contract - checked(who doesn't)

Pogba may not be the problem, but he's certainly a major part of our problems. No team can have their supposedly best player go absent for game after game after game. I just hope that we don't build our team around him.

He’s not even that mate. However you want to spin it. We don’t improve the issue by getting rid of Pogba. It would be like making an arguement we need to remove De Gea for a keeper who can actually pass a ball so we can improve our build up play as a team. There just dumb arguements.

Pretty simple yet you’d think it was logarithm to most fans.

Why are you hurt over Lingard having a personality?

You just dont get it, do you? It's not about having a fecking personality or any of that shit so cop on.

Think about it for a second, when we were winning all around domestically in the 90s, we were laughing at the likes of "The Spice Boys"
Now, Liverpool and City are leaving us behind, what I want to see is my club and its players doing everything possible to claw them back!! I dont want to see the club boasting about Twitter interactions, The "Pog emoji' or, to put it bluntly, our version of the sort of shit we laughed at.

"Hendo" lifts the league title, after we hand it to them by beating City, meanwhile we have Lingard's or Pogba's next dance to look forward to. Or, mediocre players like Herrera, trying to feck us over a barrell

How anyone cant see that as frustrating is beyond me.

"Oh you hate them because they have a personality"
No ffs, I don't! I dislike them because in one case, one is not good enough for United and collectively, they dont have the mentality for Manchester United!

As a side note, that match, that Pog Emoji was fecking ridiculous! Embarrassing. Not his fault, who would say no?

The club is a mess and I am so down about it, words do no such justice

Stop hating and move on.

We need to do everything to assure that Pogba stays.

I think it stems from the Ronaldo/Madrid phobia. So many people are scared of losing our best player to them again.

It's very strange though how they believe EVERY snippet from the press or Mourinho twisting tales. Pretty much everybody else loves Pogba, Ole clearly loves him too.

But the estranged Ex didn't like him, so suddenly Pogba is a bad guy and a virus  I just can't understand for the life of me what they see. Maybe it's an old fashioned mentality of work ethic over talent.

I'm more than happy to call a spade a spade, but I saw nothing against Wolves to suggest Pogba wasn't trying. People can't seem to see that having an off day/less form isn't down tooling.
He never downed tools but was infact operating well below his potential level which plagued the entire squad . Still our best performer inspite of the difficulties we faced, him and Martial kept mourinho on the the job arguably.
Then people overrated his performances after Ole like he became a different player and was downing the tools previously. Now I'm reading stuff like he turned up for 2 months to prove mourinho wrong and then started angling for a move. nothing changed in his performance. He was the same player and Ole improved the collective.
Other players have bad games, PP downs tools.

Don't be surprised to get 2 CM to replace PP and he goes to off to RM and started competing and winning leagues/champions leagues whilst we're here still scraping for 4th. Who is people going to blame then? I'm waiting to see..

There is a massive difference though...

If Pogba does to Madrid, he will be joined by many other players who will make Madrid a force again. It wont just be down to Pogba.

Whilst with United, we will still trot out Ashley Young, Smalling, Jones, Lingard and sometimes, a half arsed Martial.

I hope he stays, on form and in the right frame of mind, he is a top player, but the thought of him leaving does not sadden me as much as when we lost other players in the past.

On more than one occasion under SAF, we got rid of great players and ended up with a better team.
I think Ole is capeable of doing the same if he needs to

We will not sell him.

As for the consequences if we ever do, I'm not that bothered. Our strength as a cohensive collective is far more important than one or two individuals. If we start beocoming a proper team, with our resources we'll be a force to be reckoned with. Till we are mismanaged, on the other hand, no amount of money spending and big names will take us where we want to be.
