Yup. There is a certain cult around and a fair amount of myths about him.The thing is, he's actually deadly serious. Which is hilarious and tragic in equal measure.

Sorry but it's true. He carries the team. The thing is, he's actually deadly serious. Which is hilarious and tragic in equal measure.
If a player actively wants to leave then it brings the price down a lot, very helpful to the buying club.

Good riddance. He obviously wants out and will sulk if he doesn't get his way. Lets get someone in who wants to here. Thanks for some good memories but overall blew hot and cold.
Very hectic. Carrying 9 outfielders on his back is not ideal I could see why he got extended break.
Sorry but it's true. He carries the team.
And I do agree it's tragic and hilarious- a super giant club like us relying on one man it's not good.
Ita true and you know what's worse we actually question his commitment when he even cut his holiday short after world cup to return for the first matchday like last year.good one, must admit.
And look what heights he carried us to... You'll soon realise the error of your ways. I was once like you, but now while I appreciate his talent his end product is nowhere near strong enough. If he stays, great. If he leaves, equally great. We're in a win-win position here. It really isn't that deep.Sorry but it's true. He carries the team.

How is that even remotely a win-win situation? Paul is our only world class player, the only player worthy of Manchester United shirt (DDG had an embarrassing season, possibly in permanent decline). Sure, lets get rid of the only player capabale of any creativity, lets sell the guy who also is our top scorer despite playing CM position! Utter nonsense. Just look at the state of our transfer window, we're not able to attract any elite players and forced to ridiculously overpay for the rest. Over 50m for a defensive fullback who had a decent season with Crystal Palace, and possibly 80m for Harry f*cking Maguire - and yet you want to sell Paul Pogba, the best midfielder in the world, hoping we'll somehow manage to replace him. Don't be ridiculous. And look what heights he carried us to... You'll soon realise the error of your ways. He certainly hasn't shown this playing for us. Or for any other team for that matter. If we invest the money we get for him smart, we could be better off as a team even if we end up with "lesser" players. Pogba's contribution would not be that hard to replace, especially his penalties.Paul Pogba, the best midfielder in the world
Losing the only top player we have makes us look like a weak club and doesn't actually take us forward. This is wishful thinking. At best we'll be taking sideways step. There's nothing stopping us from buying lots of top players to help each other- just like any other ambitious club. And look what heights he carried us to... Paul Pogba, who carried Juventus to CL final? Paul Pogba, who carried France to World Cup trophy? Paul Pogba, who carries our current Manchester United side full of midtable fodder players, previously managed by a washed up has-been and now a non-manager whose only relevant CV is Cardiff relegation? I can't be bothered to look up the statistics again, they're posted twice in this thread (spoiler alert: Only Messi and Ronaldo had higher individual contribution to their teams than Paul during previous season) but surely no sane person can question PP's world class quality. Why else would Real Madrid and Juventus, both continental powerhouses and both miles ahead of us, be so desperate to get him?He certainly hasn't shown this playing for us. Why is Pogba posting as Halal Jalal? I like Paul and would rather he stays but the over the top praise in that post is frankly hilarious, carried France to the World Cup trophy? Behave.
For France, he has carried the team. Not in a typical way but his impact was real. It's just that Griezmann helps, and Matuidi and Kante also help in the midfield. But he did contribute a lot during this world cup and I was very happy with his work.Paul Pogba has never carried anything. He drags teams down more than help them.
Most overrated player in history.

He has, it's indeniable. It's just that France somehow works a bit like a club instead of being a national team, with a lot of chemistry possible because of talented players. He brings a lot of talent while Matuidi and Kante brings coverage, and Griezmann brings a talent. So in others words, he didn't actually carry the team, but was a contributor in a team loaded with top players carrying their own weight.
Title. The will to win titles with United was real. Why is he leaving? Because of the money? Or because we don't play the CL and don't challenge the title? He wants to win and he wants to see investment in the squad. You have to wonder what made him come back at all. The chance to prove himself at a supposedly higher level tinged with a little insecurity surrounding the manner he left the first time? Or was it all just about the money?

He is easily worth 150mil sterling.Whatever your thoughts on Paul's abilities or otherwise, he has certainly given a clear indication that he wants to move clubs, and we, as a club, should honour that, so we need to sign several CM players asap. I, personally, wouldn't want either Isco or Bale, and I think £150 is too much, but I would still ask for that.
