Our smilies have become somewhat of a relic of Internet history on here. They're a carry-over from forum software that long predates XenForo - possibly from Ultimate Bulletin Board? (@Raoul will know).
The modmins figured it was time to refresh things as they were starting to look as outdated and rundown as the Old Trafford roof.
So we've rolled out new smilies today which are based on the primary XenForo smilies. I'm sure some of you won't like it but like every change, you'll get used to it
can we still have this green one?

This looks more like someone is constipatedHonestly the smilies were integral to the spirit of this place. The new ones make us all seem like stupid children. This is absolutely horrible, worse than anything that could happen.

First AI and now fortnite kids emoji.... please hire an artist to revise old animated emojis to look better without losing their essence. I would hate it if we use standard phone emojis as if this is facebook and not caf.
Failing that, please consider adding older emoji as a separate choice/set that we can use. For example : keane : (old) and : keane2 : (new). Also I dont think the new emojis go well with the current website theme. It looks too modern.
