Anybody got any real footage of the PS4? Think it's due out late next year. I read it's also going to be 10 times more powerful than the PS3 not sure how true that is though it's exciting.

If it's 10 times more powerful than the PS3 it'll be pretty pointless seeing as they still haven't reached the full potential of the PS3 technology.
There's no footage of it and no technical specifications have been released. The only thing we know about it, is that Sony have said that they will release not too long after the release of the Nextbox and the Wii-U.

Naughty Dog have said that they've used the Cells' SPEs to their full potential iirc with Uncharted 3. The PS3 won't be churning out anything significantly better looking than UC3.
Thing hasnt even been officially announced yet.

My advice would be to be skeptical of all sources online and check where the information comes from. That site states that its only a fansite.

Both Sony and M$ claim that they are no where near releasing a new platform. Microsoft saying they will are looking at anywhere between 2013-2015 and Sony always claiming they were aiming for a 10 year cycle for the PS3.
Personally I think it will come down to who dares jump first. I don't think Sony and M$ will attempt to try and challenge the new Wii console next year, they will probably let the Wii U have it's time in the sun before then waiting to see who states there intentions first. The head of Sony Europe said, whilst they want to innovate, they don't want to let M$ have such a big head start again. Which with the cost of developing CELL, had the PS3 as a loss making product for so long.
I don't think Sony will ditch CELL, just refining the technology, putting more processors/cores. More RAM, better GPU etc.
Rumours include a new motion controlled system. Leaked patients included proximity sensors and floor sensors etc etc. Apperently they are aiming for an "eco system" putting the console into "standby" after 30 mins of no activity, but allowing the game/movie etc etc to be resumed from last point. Built with "green" and low energy parts.
You hear rumours of Killzone 4 already being developed for next gen launch, along with Naughty Dog stating they may not release a new Uncharted till the next gen. Crytek UK hinting they are working on next gen title (timesplitters 4?) and also Agent disappearing off everyone's radars and rumours that Rockstar maybe delaying it for next gen.
Another hint that we won't see next gen in 2012, is the release of so many high end games. e.g. GTA 5, MGS Rising, Final Fantasy 13 2.

There's still plenty of life in the PS3 and Xbox 360 yet - with both machines having huge online communities now, Sony and MS will squeeze every bit of life out of their flagship consoles IMO.

If they just released a PS3 that could handle at least 4 way split screen online, I would be happy for the next 10 years.

I think Warhawk and one of the Resistance did it? I can see the reluctance in doing it though, it's not a popular feature i don't believe. Then i don't think devs what there limited MP spaces taken up by 4 people sitting at the same console.
Personally i don't enjoy split screen myself, i hate the reduced screen size. Unless it's an old Timesplitters game. Timesplitters was boss.
It depends on the genre I suppose, but there is nothing really that can beat local multiplayer with a group of friends in the same room, be it split-screen or over a LAN.
Nobody has footage of it because it does not exist in any concrete form as of yet. If it did then you would be hearing valid rumours of developers having devkits which has not happened as of yet.
Secondly, there is no way Sony is going to attempt to launch a new handheld and a new home console in the same year.
Thirdly, it normally takes around 24 months to get a top tier game going on known hardware, so you have to look at the top end Sony studios, what they last put out and when they put it out. Take Naughty Dog for example, it will probably take them 3 years to get a game out for PS4, and they've only just shipped Uncharted 3. Santa Monica shipped God of War III amost 2 years ago, but if it goes the same way as last time around their swansong will be on the PS3 as GoW II was the PS2s swansong. Guerilla released Killzone 3 this year, so you won't see anything from them until at least 2014. Sucker Punch released Infamous 2 this summer. You can forget GT6 for at least 4 years if it ends up as being a PS4 game. Evolution released a Motorstorm this year. The rest all either have products in development for PS3 or are working on VITA titles.
So tell me, if Sony release the PS4 late 2012 or early 2013, where the hell is the software coming from? 1st parties all seem rather occupied and there are no rumours of 3rd parties having an early devkit.
Fourthly, the PS3 is still nowhere near a price point where it could still sell alongside a PS4 (which can't be ultra expensive again and Sony can't take massive losses again). For the first five years of this generation the PS2 outsold XB360 and PS3, over 50 million units (yes you got that right, at the start of this year the PS2 was the second highest selling console of this generation behind the Wii), but it could only do that because of its price point in comparison to the newer hardware and its vast library of quality games. PS3 is not in a position to do that at this moment in time.
Finally, I'll sum up. It's not happening.
