Gaming PlayStation Plus

Ok, I get this as being publicity, but I also now see people holding off buying games because they hold on for it to appear on PS+.

This is correct, I don't think I'll ever buy a PS3 game these days because everything good will come in Plus anyway.

Jesus how many PS3 games?! Got a lot of downloading to do today.

It's interesting when you look at your friends list and how many have PS+. The account I use on the CAF has very very few PS+ people on it (and it wouldn't surprise me if quite a lot of them pay for XB LIVE). This will obviously change with it being required for PS4 play, but I still find it amazing how many people are losing out on what it gives because they don't understand it.

I'm getting rid of most of my physical copies simply bedause they are included in this sale and I'll probably be £50 - £70 better off if I trade them and buy them digitally. It's an outrageous sale.

January IGC for PS+ is supposed to be up today, don't know the time specifically but should be a matter of a couple of hours.

I started paying last month when I got my vita, with todays releases I think I've made the yearly fee back 3 times over in the games I want to download.

Has anybody played AC:Liberation for the Vita?

In a way I'm glad I no longer have a PS3. I would have purchased at least 4 games by now

My Vita has set me back £20 though. And my card is now full (the cnuts that pointed out I'd need a bigger card in the Vita thread can keep quiet.)

Where can I buy the 64 GB card and what's the price?

I'll probably be better off sticking with my 32 then, it's difficult though because I have about 80 GB of games that I could put on it. The likes of MLB, Metal Gear Solid collection (you cannot download them separately), Uncharted and BlazBlue take up more than 3GB.

Even 500GB on a PS3 won't suffice after their latest sale I think, I will have to double the space at some point. How much is a 1TN hard drive that works with a PS3 these days?

Is the network offline? Seems to be the theme on twitter...but I can log in fine, just can't play?

Bad time to shut down the network though.

Getting hammered I would imagine, huge sale, Xmas period, Xmas Day in some countries. It was much the same on release day.

It doesn't work for me either, I wanted to buy some Vita stuff from the January sale but will wait until tomorrow. I don't have my PS3 with me at my family house for Christmas but I'll get down to it after New Year, plenty of time for most deals as the ones I'm mostly interested in don't run out until second half of January.

Ohhhh, no, nothing like that. I basically just want Persona 4 for less than full price.

Friends list issues tonight on psn...also affecting online play on ea games with origin not working properly.

Right lads, I've had this PS3 sitting in my mum's house for about 18 months now and haven't played it once. What games should I be looking at in this sale?

I'm thinking:

Bioshock
Crysis
Mass Effect
Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning
Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
Arkham Asylum

All for a total of £30. Anything I should be looking at?

Don't Starve is now there. I've not played it on the PC so it was my first experience playing it today, but from the little I've played of it so far I like it.

Have the set of free PS4 games changed over from Resogun and the like?
