Gaming PlayStation 5

Still loving KCD 2 50 hours in.

Still not over the fact that Henry sounds like such a numpty.

Best part about it. He’s hilarious. Genuinely so many laugh out loud moments.

I’ve been struggling to get back into it after

it opens back up again after the big long linear bit after the wedding.

Need to try find the time. It’s really not a game you can enjoy playing an hour at a time.

Yeah, I'm abouts there as well. And similarly lack time to play for more than 30 minutes at a time.

Finished KCD 1 yeah. Loved it. I’m saving 2 for later in the year. I need an operation and I’ll be in a boot for 6-8 weeks so it’ll be perfect for that.
God you’re in for a treat. I ended up caving under pressure from a mate to start KDC2 and had to watch a story recap of 1 to cover what I’ve missed. God it’s better in every way, if you like 1, this one is next level. Hope the operation goes well btw!

I had no game to play so I decided to get the plat in MW 2: remastered.

It started off fun but one of the trophies ended up being super annoying.

I finally got it, today. And that's Platinum number 18, for me.

The Student Surpasses the Master?

What trophy?

The Student Surpasses the Master?
Believe it not, it was not the surpasses the master one. Which 'only' took me an hour or so. I didn't find that as tough as say, mile high club. It was not even the one where you have to finish the campaign on veteran. That has a glitch that lets you do it on easy.

The trophy that caused trouble was immortal. You have to finish the campaign without dying and reloading from checkpoint.

On paper it sounds easy! I put it on recruit thinking that it would be a cake walk. But I what I forgot about these games is bullshit can kill you even on recruit.

Grenades are one shot and melee is still just a two hit kill. Even on recruit. And friendly fire also voids the trophy and twice I killed my team mates because of no name tag.

Now, it's done and I never want to play that campaign again!

Hitman on PSVR2 is my favorite way to play the game now. It's pretty much the flat screen game in all it's glory in VR. Amazing achievement.

Yep. Sometimes it'll go into third person during certain segments but it's 90% first person.
That is seriously cool to be fair! I’d love to try that. Do you get to act out the murders? as in would you get to grot someone?

Everything you can do in flat screen, you can do in VR. It's the full levels and sometimes it's a holiday simulator with how exotic some of the locations are! It's honestly been one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had.

Hogwarts Legacy being added to PS Plus. My patience pays off.

Pre-ordered Indiana Jones & The Great Circle. Got very good reviews on Xbox so looking forward to playing the PlayStation version next week.

Once in about a decade a game comes along that my wife suddenly takes an interest in and I don’t see her for 6 weeks. This was one of them.

Are you planning on starting this? I'd love some caf insight into it before I commit to bothering with my limited games time.
Yeah I downloaded it using the PS app on my phone but won't be able to play it til later.

Played an hour or so of Blue Prince.

It’s interesting, enjoyable and starting to get the gameplay loop and strategise my rooms but still early on. So far not seeing why they said GOTY material but expecting it to switch things up as I progress.

Yeah, it's basically just a game of chance.

My wife was the same with her Zumba instructor.

Getting into Blue Prince now. The more you play the more you learn about each rooms and the strategy. Then you find a brand new room and it adds something new to it. There’s lots of stuff outside the building as well which I’m sure will come into play but it’s pretty fun so far.

It's been 20 damn years. I finally get to play Age of Empires 2 on the playstation again. Can't fecking wait

Ah yes, I'm looking forward to this as well! Any word on a release date yet?
