The graphics on that are mad.
Sticking on Pet Shop Boys felt very Guardians of the Galaxy and it's interesting they're going for what looks like a hack & slash but I've no doubt they'll smash it.
I could tell right away from the facial animations it was Naughty Dog, too.

It's just a teaser so no real thoughts on it, but a new Naughty Dog IP is always going to be intriguing to me. I love those sparse synths at the beginning, perfect vibe for this type of setting for me. As @Solius said, sticking on that cd felt a bit too GotG to me and I hope the comparisons end there.
That little action snippet at the end makes me wonder what type of gameplay they're going for. One of my biggest hopes for this game is that they expand on or completely overhaul their gameplay structure without losing too much of what made their previous games so great.

Looks really cool. It's got that 80s retro futuristic vibe to it.
Interesting that they've got Kumail Nanjiani and Tony Dalton (the guy who plays Lalo from Better Call Saul) in there too.
Looks open world? I'd prefer level based progression like Uncharted but maybe that's me showing my age
You can tell from the little hour count in the bottom right when the game is highlighted on the PS5 main screen. Mine are always way above actual playtime for the same reasons you gave.
The older woman talking on the screen looked a lot like Sigourney Weaver to me. Lalo being present is great news.
That being said, I'm not as hyped as I wish I was. TLOU 2 felt like the moment of crossing over from peak Druckmann into overindulgent, getting high off his own reputation Druckmann. Fingers crossed though.
Honestly. For some reason I had it in my head as a down year but when I actually think about all the titles that interest me it gets overwhelming quickly.
Ah yes absolutely. Noticed that many a time too. Makes me feel better about myself seeing the actual playtime.
That’s the most exciting part for me. It’s interesting because I felt their older stuff had just decent gameplay but I absolute adore the moment to moment mechanics of TLOU P2. So whether it’s more flamboyant, quicker etc and more complex combat, I still hope they retain and build on the enormous strides they made in gameplay in P2.
Portal arrived today. Impressed by it. Started with Forspoken on the cloud steaming service and it's alright. I know it got a bad rep but apparently it's an easy platinum and it's a fun first try on the new kit. Will move to TLOU after.

Will do..the one thing that is a bit nitpicky for me so far is that I can't see a way of looking at trophies. I'm having to look at the app on my phone instead. They pop up when you get one but I can't see how to view them on the portal.

Anyone going for Alien Rogue Incursion on PSVR2 this week? Praying it's not shit but early stuff looked promising.
Also started getting back into GT7 on PSVR in the last week or so. Still playing it with motion control on the dual sense which is fun enough but have been looking at wheels. Thrustmaster t300 rs gt is £250 at the moment. Worth it? I'd need a stand to fix it to as well I guess.

I imagine it'll come at some point. When the Beta very first released, pressing the PS button didn't do anything while playing a cloud game.
I think they just wanted to get the Beta out for the first anniversary and then will add QoL features from there.
Sony is going to become the largest shareholder in Kadokawa, which itself is the largest shareholder of Fromsoftware
Bought all of this shit today. Will update when I get round to playing on them.

From one of the comments in the tweet, the title is a bit misleading since the share is only 10%, though yes being the largest.
Wonder how much influence it will have in terms of future games being PS exclusives though.

I'm slightly worried by this. Mostly because FromSoft already make most of my favourite games over the last decade, and I feel like any change in the games arising from this will be negative. Hopefully I'm being paranoid.
If I hear Patches say "hey, doesn't that wall look funny? Why don't you try hitting it?" I'm going to be very annoyed.
Even before the cloud stuff was added I got my money's worth out of it, but the cloud and quality of it in addition makes it well worth it.
Nothing is going to happen. Sony only have a 10% stake in Kadokawa as a whole and they'll mostly be concerned with the anime and light novel side of things.

If you have the PC for it, emulation has Bloodborne running pretty well from what I understand.
Quick question, do I need my ps5 on to use the portal. I work away during the week and stay somewhere with a decent broadband connection, would be good to play ps games.
Depends what you want to play. I have been cloud streaming so no, it doesn't need to be on but you're limited to a specific number of games in the PS Plus catalogue
Doesn't make much of a difference, because if Bloodborne is ever getting a remake, it would most likely be done by Bluepoint, just like Demon's Souls.
