Can't wait for this. Gameplay trailer in a couple days. Makers of XCOM...
Disappoint
Anybody planning to buy Deathloop in a few weeks?
I was planning to wait for it to hit Gamepass, but it looks and sounds brilliant. Different than your average game, and timeloops where you end up playing sections over again doesn't feel like something that will resonate with many people but for anybody that loved Dishonoured / Arkane, this should be right up your street.

It looks an interesting game and certainly one I’ll keep an eye on. Think it’s one to look at the reviews for and see how it goes. I wouldn’t be surprised if it did quite well and proved fairly popular!
I thought about waiting until it goes down in price but I’m desperate for something new to play tbh.
Yeh I know the feeling. I still need to play Ratchet at some point though which I’m waiting to come on sale. If this Is good it could be one for afterwards though. With it being Arkane I wouldn't be surprised if it got good reviews and low sales numbers. Although, people are so starved for anything next gen and with nothing else coming out on PS at the moment, it might do better than you'd normally expect.

It's relaxing sometimes, and other times it's. Well. I won't spoil it.Yeah, that's why I've held off for so long. It looks like it could be a relaxing sort of game from what I've seen of it, and I'm in the mood for that. Gonna wait for the director's cut to release though.

Loved this game. Genuinely haven't been affected by a game like that in a long time. Mechanic wise it felt a bit lacking in combat and traversal but those look to have been improved in this new version.

You can avoid a lot of combat if you want - it still has that MGS DNA in it. And while the combat isn't great, what is there is tremendous fun. In my bald opinion, anywayYeah, I heard the combat isn't great, but it's my understanding (and I could be wrong as I obviously haven't played it) that combat can be avoided a lot of the time? There are probably instances where that isn't feasible, but I hope it's the case somewhat. I'm a little fatigued by the traditional first-person/third-person games where the only way out of a situation is to annihilate everyone in the vicinity.
That's why I'm intrigued by this game.
Can't believe people think the combat in Ghost isn't great.
Easily the best part of the game.
Who said that? It’s the storytelling/repetitive missions that let it down.

That isn't the case with Horizon Forbidden West. In fact, there seems to be no current upgrade path at all planned for the game. Instead, Sony is suggesting you make that decision up front. You'll still have the $60 version for PS4 and $70 version for PS5 to choose from, but you won't be able to pay the $10 upgrade fee to make the jump after the fact. Instead, Sony says that they only way to get a version of that game that works across both consoles, you'll need to purchase one of the game's more premium editions, starting at the $80 Digital Deluxe Edition.
Such a dick move from Sony. They're going to lose a lot of faith from people if they keep this shit up. It's even more mental when you consider how many people can't get their hands on a ps5 right now and will have no choice but to play it on ps4.
Yeah I’ve not been impressed at all with how they’ve gone about stuff like this - they really ought to be making it simpler and fairer for consumers, especially when they’re charging £70 for a game.https://www.gamespot.com/articles/h...-expensive-and-more-complicated/1100-6495867/

Nope it appears not, only the collector's edition and above seems to cover both versions. I think they'll have to. Shortages are likely to continue well into 2022 and this could be really, really bad press for them. Whatever about the price increase for next gen games (which I think is shitty enough for games that are still on current gen!), this is just pure shithousery. So even the PS5 version at £70 wouldn't give you the PS4 version whilst you wait? That feels like the minimum they should offer.
I can see them reversing that decision.
I feel like unless they get hit in the pocket, they'll keep trying. Thing is, (seems like) the majority just bend over for this stuff...Yeah I’ve not been impressed at all with how they’ve gone about stuff like this - they really ought to be making it simpler and fairer for consumers, especially when they’re charging £70 for a game.
Ratchet and Clank has gone down in price but it's still around £60. Just can't justify that for a game I'm not desperate to play.
Might get it once it reaches £25-30.
It's fecking amazing. One game I didn't mind paying full price for, but it is steep. I would say it's well worth it at around £45Ratchet and Clank has gone down in price but it's still around £60. Just can't justify that for a game I'm not desperate to play.

Yeah I finished it the other day. It's good but a one play and done type. I'll probably trade mine in actually.
Takes some getting used to but stick with it because it’s brilliantI've downloaded Apex Legends to see what that's like. Can't afford anything right now
