I believe so. That's the one I'm getting anyway. February the 2nd, apparently. This is the blurb on the PSN Store:

Obviously the PSN store hasn't updated the next-gen upgrade date. But from all the reading I've done on the subject over the last few weeks, the Ultimate Edition is the one you need for the upgrade.

Only via the PSNow service (stream only) you won't get every PS3 game on there (or even 10% of them) but the big hitters like Red Dead Redemption, MGS, Devil May Cry etc are there.

Been patiently waiting all month. Typically back to work tomorrow for 4 days and we're ridiculously busy so going to be tough to keep an eye on any drops. Just really hoping I get lucky and can finally get one. Created accounts on almost every site that have potential stock drops coming :lol:

They're available for back order here and supposedly back in stock on 25th Jan.

I ordered the charging station off them but that won't be in stock until the end of the month either (hopefully) so can't vouch for them yet. I saw the site recommended on reddit for what it's worth. :lol:

Platinumed it too. Wasn’t until I did new game plus I realised how short the story was

But still thought it was superb. Put over 20 hours into it and we’ll worth the price for me anyway
 
It’s a bit mad how little amount of games that are coming out for the ps5. The next game I’m even remotely interested in is Returnal, which looks good and after that nothing is possibly coming out till October. Barren year so far.

That is more than enough. People have to remember there’s a pandemic and that has impacted a lot of games that were due out this year and even 2022. Nobody wants another Cyberpunk solution where games are rushed out.

Sony said last Nov that Horizon is likely to come out end of 2021 and they put this list out at CES just a few days ago.

There was very little from Sony at start of previous gen too. For me Demons Souls and Astro alone make it better than Ps4 launch though
 
I think this generation (well, PS5, anyway) is the best in terms of the games that have already been released and what's coming up this year. Not only the exclusives but the upgrades on older games. I've already mentioned Control in this thread which is the upgrade I'm looking forward to the most, but I'm also looking forward to playing Ghost of Tsushima in 60fps as I haven't played that game yet. Personally I think the PS5 is looking extremely strong in 2021. Although I can't see God of War being released this year.
 
Yeah, to be honest, I have such a large back catalogue of games to play I kind of need a small break without any major game releases. I have to finish AC Valhalla, then I'll jump into Miles Morales. I also want to jump into some of my older games that I never finished such as Ghost of Tsushima, Days Gone and potentially Fallout 4. If that can tide me over for a while then Cyberpunk may have been updated/fixed and I can do playthrough number two. Good time for gaming.
 
So... anyone know anything about upcoming stock? I asked for money for Xmas and have got enough for one.. but still looks like it’s ultra impossible to get one..?

I keep seeing different specification rumours, is there anything to it and waiting?
 
Anyone had any similar problems to this? Trying to transfer Days gone from my SSD back to my HDD, it completes the moving process, gets to the end of the bar, and then nothing happens, until I manually press cancel and the process ends.
 
I've always wanted a proper Harry Potter RPG, don't care how long it takes as long as it's great

Almost a perfect storm. Crazy demand, partly increased by Covid. Manufacturing delays causing supply shortages, partly made worse by Covid. And Brexit which may or may not speculatively be impacting quantity delivered to the UK.

And 100% on scalpers, even when the next stock drop happens I’m not even remotely confident I’ll even get a chance to buy one because scalpers will get there first. Infuriating!
