Gaming PlayStation 4 (Console)

So many great PS1 & PS2 games. Not even just for nostalgia, loads to love that hold up well today.
I have played 2 PS1 game's in my life...one was Tekken 3 at my cousins house as a kid and the other FF6 which I bought on the Vita. Yeah I regret not getting some of the better PS2 games like Metal Gear.

No but I'd love to! I'd probably get dicked mind. I thought I was ace at it, would regularly dick friends on it but I've seen some youtube videos since of some crazy shit. Saying that, I was pretty good at Mario Kart online last year before I stopped playing it.

Watch the last lap. Way harder than it looks I bet.

 Big time!

Righteo, bored and fancy a new game. Can't be arsed going shopping if I'm honest so probably going to grab something off the stupidly overpriced store tonight, would prefer not to be paying over 50 for something though, may go for something discounted or older/cheaper. Any recommendations? Don't really like these indie type games, don't mind RPG's, sports games aren't really my thing, already have fifa and golf club so that does me.

Got AC Unity, completed Black Flag, got shadow of mordor. Got Last of Us but don't feel like playing that at the moment.

Games I've enjoyed the most so far have been GTA V, Diablo III and Black Flag.

What's that like, picked it up ages ago as I spotted it 2nd hand, dead cheap, but haven't got round to playing it.
I loved it. The Hong-Kong setting is great IMO, I found it really refreshing and unique compared to the standard US type locations in these kind of games, and I just found it fun to play in general.

Sleeping Dogs feels a bit old now and the re-master isn't great but it's worth playing if you haven't before, going by the games you listed it's in your wheelhouse.

Haven't played it since the PS3, and not sure how the remaster turned out, but Sleeping Dogs is very enjoyable. It's familiar in the sense it's in the GTA vein, but different enough to not feel like a clone. Especially because of the setting and the combat. Compared to Watch Dogs, it's far superior.

Sleeping Dogs also had really fun combat if I remember correctly. Could do some brutal finishers. The film it was inspired by, Infernal Affairs, is also very good.

I would only buy it for PS4 if it was very cheap as I don't think the remaster is meant to be that great and I'm sure it would be only a couple of pounds for old consoles.

Bloodborne, Wolfenstein.

Bloodborne will surely drop soon, and as it's apparently pretty time consuming I could probably wait a few weeks and pick it up when I'm in town sometime.

Which Wolfenstein? New Order or The Old Blood? Or they both as good as each other?

Sleeping Dogs.

I vaguely remember playing this with my nephew before, wasn't too keen on it and having looked at videos I sort of feel the same, for £12 though it should be worth it.

You buying The Witcher 3 ONO? Sleeping Dogs should be a nice little cheap stop gap for it.

Fair enough with Bloodborne.

I've only played a great deal of The New Order, but a few minutes of The Old Blood, and it seems just as good, especially for a cheap fix. You'd probably find New Order for a good price in a shop though, so maybe worth waiting on that.

Yeah will be getting FFX Remaster and The Witcher 3 asap I think.

The Old Blood is only £15 or something on the store.

The store seems a bit messed up atm. Slow loading, and some games just seem to be missing, just had a check for the price of things, and I couldn't find AC Unity (Already have it was just curious) and some other games seemed missing or really hard to find.

Not much value in the store deals at the moment, Far Cry 4 is tempting though.

Yeah, the Old Blood is only a prequel/expansion, so apparently quite short.

Downloaded and started playing war frame. Never before have I been stuck during a tutorial. No idea how to get past a locked door! Been ten minutes now trying to think what to do

I just saw a deal for Assassins Creed Unity for £6.99 for Xbone. How come the PS4 doesn't get these dodgy deals from places like CD-Keys? Its not the first time I've noticed something like that. Is the PS store more strict about buying keys from 3rd parties or something like that?

Not entirely sure myself, I think someone explained it before though.

The Crew looks awful from what I've seen of it.

Crap, a good friend picked up a PS4 during the week, and got it, was thinking of picking it up for some multiplayer.
It has a huge world and that's where its pluses disappear. Shit driving model, terrible graphics, boring races.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Deluxe Edition is currently £32.50 on the PSN store. Is it worth a buy?

I think all the items you get with the deluxe version is all rubbish that you will not use. If you can get a regular copy for cheaper it would be a better deal.

The deluxe gives you mounts which you will most likely never use as they don't go very fast. The weapons you get are too low level and you will have better stuff very quickly i think.

Regular one is £28 so there's no a huge amount in it so I might as well go for the Deluxe. Cheers, though.

Whilst the proposed prices are awful, I've got in the Beta of PS Now and Ratchet & Clank is working well.

Will try something where latency would be more noticeable soon but positive signs.
