Players with palindrome careers

Ryan Giggs. Man United - Man United and ended his career at Man United.

But if he at some point became England coach he would be England - Wales - England
That's quite interesting!

Interesting thread.

I'm sure you can find loads of Italian players given how much they move back and forth between Italian clubs.

How do you mean there? A potential England schoolboys (player), Wales (player or coach) then England (coach) thing or something else I've forgotten about?

Would Great Britain in the Olympics come into play?

There’s a few where loans break the chain. Gary Pallister for one.

Shinzo Kagawa is a home coming away from completing the set too.

Rooney broke his chain too.
Oh God, it took me a while to realise Rooney was back at Everton just some time ago.

 There's a literal definition of the word "palindrome".
You're right.

Didn't understood the word properly, though it's like a synonym word of "mirror", but actually the two words are way different.

Was thinking more like we can use "mirror" in either a more strict way (lots of restriction) or loose/flexible way (open, no need to follow strict rules in consideration). "Palindrome" is like a strict form of "mirror" in a way. Hope this make sense.

Neat.

Zaha but for that stupid loan to cardiff.
? I think Zaha fits this description, and that Cardiff Loan helps making it palindromic. Put a mirror at Cardiff.

It's a bit complex, and his wiki is not neatly presented, but basically it goes something like this,

Crystal Palace -- Crystal Palace (loan) -- Manchester United -- Cardiff (loan) -- Manchester United -- Crystal Palace (loan) -- Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace
- Crystal Palace (loan)
- - - Manchester United
- - - - - - - - Cardiff City (loan)
- - - Manchester United
- Crystal Palace (loan)
Crystal Palace

You can put United in the middle between the early two CP, and the later two CP, but this representation is more accurate.
Because, he literally joined us and later left permanently in the same winter transfer window (Jan to Feb), not really at United in those times.
Before and after Cardiff loan, he spent his first time and back with United. He spent more times with us in his first season with United, but his second season only after a week later went to CP on loan.
