Here's how it looks just looking at first places:
scholes: 19
ruud: 10.5
oshea: 6.5
silvestre: 4
ole: 3
veron: 2.5
brown: 1
dudek: 1
(half points come from people who couldn't decide between 2 players)

Not doubting that Wes has been awesome since he came back, but he's only played about 5(?) games this season. Not enough to be considered player of the half year IMO.

Fair result, though personally I hope that Ole can get more vote. He maintained a consistent performance every time he played, and his current performance on the RM was so good that it surely exceed everyone's expectation.

Ole lacked goals early season - which admittedly is not ideal for a striker - but he didn't play badly. Against Leeds for example, he was superb, made some WhatweboughtVeronfor type passes, but the defeat detracted from his performance. Ole seems to be saddled with a "must score" millstone round his neck. If he doesn't score, people think he's had a bad game - until recently anyway.
Bryan Robson said he has been solid all season, and I think Robbo knows what he's on about.

Bryan Robson said he has been solid all season, and I think Robbo knows what he's on about- I have heard it all now, maybe if Robbo was as good as you say he is he might still have a job. Ole was a bit off (as were several others) early on, he went something like 5 games without scoring and that was when he was playing up front- I think we can deduce from that he was a little off (but playing brilliantly now)

His success as a manager has nothing to do with it. Robbo was a brilliant player so obviously knows what he's talking about. Or are you suggesting that Bryan Robson doesn't know anything about the game??
And yes Ole wasn't scoring, and under-performing by his own standards. But he was still playing reasonably well, and the Leeds game is a good example of that.
