it all makes sense now. I've generally considered Rossi a crappy poster for the most part but he does come out with some funny stuff from time to time. Mystery solved.

Definitely a thread that's destined for the classics.
 
It'd be great if a replica of this thread turned up elsewhere too, exactly the same except that Rossi wasn't the culprit.

What I've learned from this is that the collective Caf' is only third best newcomer or whatever it was on Utd Forum. Oh and the phrase 'face the music' I hadn't heard that before I don't think.
 
As an aside, I've nicked a few jokes from here and cross-posted them on another forum. Gifs too. Nothing like to the same extent but only because I post so much on here I post very rarely anywhere else. Probably cross-posted 10-15 times over the last few years. Does that make me weird too?
 
I'm just glad none of my posts were stolen. I'm a terrible poster and wouldn't want anyone on another forum thinking you were a tit like me.

You see Maage he went arse ways about the whole lot of it and that's why he only got the bronze in that section. He should have probably focused on Brophs, Pogues, invictus's and all that gangs posts when it came to the football side of things, changed a few words around here and there naturally enough like. Then if he wanted to tip into their other forums, probably should have aimed for moses posts for history and general knowledge and for when he was coming in at all ours of the night after playing in his Status Quo cover band he could have pulled out a few belters from the Billy Blaggs collection, said he was locked or something. He would have fecking cleaned up at the awards night. He'll know better now though or for the next time.
 
I don't find you pathetic or sad either, I just don't understand why you'd do it. It's all a bit of a laugh anyway. Fair play for coming back to face the music though Rossi.

@.Rossi When you submitted lists to the top 50's were they like somebody else's favourite films/tv shows/games etc?
 
Maybe we should cut him some slack. His actions were hardly malicious in nature (not that I'm condoning plagiarism but there weren't any devious motives at play here, other than to just feel better I guess?) and he must have his reasons for his peculiar behaviour - identity issues/need for validation/appreciation junkie or maybe just plain fooling around.

Either way, I guess this thread has run its course and we've all had our share of fun. It's clear he isn't enjoying being the butt of every joke out there and it's hardly like he has committed a severe crime and needs to be shamed or something. The mods should just deal with it as they see fit and put an end to this.

he didn't come back and face the music though. he came back (eventually), pretended it wasn't a big deal, and tried to brush it off. Then when asked if he did vice versa and copied posts from the other forum to here, he said no, which turned out to be a big fat lie too. Now after all that he's basically claiming he was bullied and it's not a big deal. He literally handled the whole thing in the worst possible way.

No way, what's wrong with you modern Caf people? Boss got slaughtered for Attacking the Space, Chief did for his Left Foot Penalty shit, and they deserved it. Rossi deserves to be laughed at and taunted for this, it's the general forum on the Caf you feckers!

If he'd had known what the thread was about yesterday, I'm sure he'd have said it was him.

He copied a few posts. Thought they'd get a laugh and maybe get a discussion going on that particular topic. He didn't exactly break any laws here.

But, when he logd on and see people saying either he's a weird and strange man or that he's pathetic or the best one, "this is weird even by internet standards" it's actually quite hurtful and not bit funny.

He got the brunt of that abuse for his initial reaction though. He tried to make light instead of owning up, and then bullshitted again when asked if he did the same thing. It made a weird thing even weirder.
