PL 2018/19 final table predictions

This love in for liverpool is sickening. We're united and it's fecking liverpool.

Many were predicting in 2017 that Liverpool would challenge for the league because they play exciting football. City walked the league and all you would hear was that United were in a false position and Liverpool were eventually going to finish ahead of them. Come the end of the season Liverpool confirmed top 4 on the final day.

Football fans have this uncanny ability to tune out what they've predicted wrongly and make that prediction again due to their biases. Once again a large amount on here are predicting Liverpool to challenge Guardiola's City of all people. Klopp could only dream of getting the points per game required to beat Guardiola.

Dortmund under Klopp got what is equivalent to the high 80s. Klopp has an inferior team with Liverpool and is in a stronger league and people think they'll get the 90+ points required to challenge City. It's nonsensical.

1. City
2. Liverpool
3. Spurs
4. Chelsea
5. Arsenal
6. United

18. Brighton
19. Bournemouth
20. Cardiff

Almost same as mine unless we get a move on. Actually would put Spurs over Arsenal. Hopefully when the window ends I will have us back up the table
I put Arsenal above Spurs because they haven't signed anyone yet but Arsenal have addressed some key areas like DM. The only way is up for them. Surely their away form can't be as bad as it was season because their home form was up there with City and us. Spurs need to spend to stay competitive.
As for us well if we don't make any more moves than its no higher than 4th because teams around us are already improving.

If this happened again, Jose should never be allowed to set foot at Old Trafford ever again.

Like I said in the are you optimistic thread I think it’s going to be toxic at the club next season. I also think we will be out of the title race by xmas....again  and honestly I can’t see us getting top 4.

1. City
2. Liverpool
3. United
4. Chelsea

I think 3 teams will fight it out this season. Ourselves, City and Liverpool to take top 3 places with Chelsea, Spurs and Arsenal fighting it out for the 4th spot.

It is hard to call yet, until we see who else we bring in and who is going out. If we bring in another 2/3 Players for the right places ( CB, LB, RW) we could take it.

Unless we make a couple of smart signings.

1-2. - City/Liverpool

Surprised nobody predicts any upsets for the top six.
Think this might be the year Everton finally get there. They have a young new coach and they've been spending shitloads of cash lately. Reckon Spurs will be the ones missing out. They're about two injuries away from being pretty average.

What a nightmare that would be. Back to where we were in 2016/17. Nevertheless nothing is guaranteed and it's very easy to drop out of the top 4. Nothing can be taken for granted.
