I'm not sure about that. Catwoman is such a lame character though.
I dunno about that, if done right I think Catwoman could be an excellent character, unfortunately most directors so far have been idiots and completely wasted the character.

That picture of Hathaway is horrendous.....Oh deary me. I don't know what it is about it, but..Errgghhh, no it looks terrible. She looks like she's wearing special laser quest cataract glasses....I don't like it at all. But I'm sure Nolan knows what he's doing. It'll be good whatever she looks like.

Also, a lot of set footage is being leaked (which is to be expected with large outdoor scenes)...And it's fairly spoilerish so don't watch it if you want to see this movie blind.

Movie fight scenes look super-naff without all the fast cutting camera-work and sound fx.
As an aside, I was doing nights in an A&E in Dublin when they were filming riot scenes for The Boxer. This involved lots of flailing sticks and hurls with a fair few extras coming a cropper and needing to get stitched up as result. Turns out the film insurance pays out a set amount of money per stitch as compensation. Spent the whole night arguing with people who thought they needed a couple more stitches "just to be on the safe side"

It looks slightly less naff when there's loads of them, but two people pretend fighting is indeed the the most uber gay spectacle in the world. Especially when they're dressed up in silly costumes.

It's not so much the main protagonists that look naff - who at least have a complex choreographed "routine" to work though - as the poor cnuts on the fringes who are presumably trying to ad lib their individual scraps and end up looking like this...

My God. That does look like a bag of wank. I take it she rides in and saves the day? (That's a rhetorical question unless you're Chris Nolan).

Its a stunt double though isn't it? I was hoping Nolan would downplay Catwoman a little. Have her be Selina Kyle and just some crazy stalker cat lady for the majority of the movie. Doesn't look like it though, the scene looks OTT looking at the pictures. Leave it to Nolan to make it look quite good in the finished product though.
Well I imagine this scene is pretty near the end. From the teaser it seems like Batman is semi-retired, or in hiding, and here he's out in the open fighting people. Plus it looks like a big set piece which are usually towards the end of films....Big riot in a blizzard, you can see them filming Bane from behind as he's walking up the steps towards Batman, and you can sort of imagine that looking suitably epic, with a big riot in a blizzard around them...As Pogue said, these things always look silly without the Music, FX and editing. Nolan hasn't fecked up any film yet.

If that does happen in the movie (which for the record I don't think it will), then surely it'll happen near the beginning.
That does make a lot of sense. I'm sure the later trailers as and when we get them, will have the Bane walking to batman in slo-mo in the blizzard with the riot in the background scene you mentioned. Boy, would that be nerdgasmic. In Nolan we trust !

I've decided to stop looking at leaked pictures and videos. These things are always nothing like the finished product and will just end up warping your expectations.

Once when I was a kid I found a 3D tomytronic that I'd been bought for my birthday (I think it was the shark attack one) and I got busted playing with it in the cupboard under the stairs. Unfortunately that ended up going back to the shop.
Another year I found a stash of transformers and took them outside to play in the mud. She couldn't take those back though luckily enough.
I knew all the hiding places.

If they're looking at shooting riot scenes then they might as well use the free extras and natural disorder that the capital is providing at the moment.
I can just see Tom Hardy in that get up whipping up a mob attack on Nandos.
