So do you really think Brown looks comfortable attacking down the flank?

not as well as GN but his 1st priority is to defend right? so that being said he defends better IMO than does GN.

Each to his own, eh. He certainly has charisma, which is often more attractive than looks.
As far as his contract clause goes, wouldn't Auxerre be truly pissed off at the club that buys him for only 2mil(or whatever ridiculous amount we're talking) which would not help in future business with the club.

if blanc becomes a coach at old trafford, i believe mexes would want to join as he is his idol i believe. Also he would add another option in the case of injuries or suspensions

I also think Wes is a stronger option defensively than Gaz at RB, he covers that space better(eg vs. R. Carlos) and his tackling is sharp. Moving forward with the ball though he's not as good as Gaz, he doesn't look likely to create anything(I get the same feeling when Nicky Butt gets the ball in attacking positions).
