'Pep' Guardiola sack watch

If Liverpool was a miracle what do we call Ranieri who by the way is coaching in Serie B currently

It's actually a miracle he's finishing the season behind Arsenal and Newcastle
As much as I think Klopp is a numpty, you can't really compare Leicester to Liverpool.
Liverpool were challenging for the title for several years, won a CL and finished runners up.

Pretty insane that after everything we know and everything we have heard, that people are still trotting out reported figures as reality. You are living in a dreamland mate.

What are you saying? That Chelsea and Liverpool didn’t spend that much? That Chelsea and Liverpool didn’t top City in both the Premier League and the Champion’s League during Guardiola’s tenure at City?

There are examples of clubs spending less than City (and United) and beating them during Guardiola’s time at the club. You’re just too fixated on City’s success and United’s lack thereof to look around and see that they are still fallible.

The b-a-l-d f-r-a-u-d's at it again. Now De Zerbi is one of the most influential managers of the last two decades. Before that Phil Foden was the best player he has ever worked with. Phil Foden!! And the poor guy wasn't even starting for City at the time.

Why does this guy have to over-egg everything? Between him and Lego Pep, I'm not sure who's worse. But they're both really nauseating.

I think it’s Guardiola’s mind games in the case of De Zerbi or motivation in the case of Foden.

Or it’s the cocaine talking.

Ego. The pandering from the media, pundits etc has inflated his ego. He now believes he's the dalai lama of football so can pretty much spout whatever bollocks he wants

Given unlimited resources and a club more than willing to break every financial rule in the book, he’s the best out there..

I’m sure it’ll make him feel all warm and fuzzy inside, knowing that’s he’s beaten one of the most influential managers of the last 20 years.

I kind of dig that kind of attitude, keeps the media guessing and some really touchy fans reacting over it :D

@adexkola in 5…..4……

For what it’s worth. I think how mental he is probably makes him the best manager in the world which he now is to be fair.
No he isn't. He's had the best opportunities in football management. Look what happened to Ancelotti. He took on a normal club in Everton, realised he didn't have all the cheat codes and suddenly looked very average. So what did he do, returned back to Real Madrid and normal service resumed. The guy's a fraud employed a fraudulent club.

I have a theory, I think he tries to throw journos off their game by talking nonsense 90% of the time, he wouldn't be the first manager to use this startegy.

Alternatively, he is just coked up to the tits and doesn't really know what shite he is spouting.

I have a pet theory that one of the reasons foreign managers get an easy time in the media is because journalists don't know how to gauge them through their broken English. Pep speaks English perfectly so has employed a tactic where he goes down a similar route but does a hairpin turn halfway in the form spouting the most insane bollocks possible. This way they don't know whether he's being serious or not, and therefore tend to leave him be. If you're too sincere you get gobbled up.

Again it's a theory. I'm not saying it's correct.

Just like his tears when Aguero retired the guy is an insincere egomaniac. Never has anything nice to say when he loses.

To me that’s wink winking at De Zerbi to be next to take the city job.

see above, I think City want him after pep and they’re happy to let it be known.

But yes, cocoaine is a hell of a drug
