Hiroshima will seem like a fart in the wind next to this explosion..If he actually does then I reckon the Caf will blow up too

As great a player as he'd be. If he doesn't want to play for us, I don't want him. Same should apply for anyone.
broken negotiations. Now looking for other alternatives in P.L
Hoping Pogba is sold this month?
Possibly - personally if you had told me weeks ago we would sign Ndombele and Lo Celso this summer I'd have snapped your arm off. Dybala is never going to happen but I'm happy we are at least trying for a player of that level - shows ambition even if at the end we don't sign him.

Spurs would be a more fitting destination for him than us in a way but I've been wanting him to come here for years.... Fecking footie.
We were still successful despite not signing Ronaldinho?Another WC player we'll miss out on because the deal was 'complicated'. Right thing to do. It worked out well with Ronaldinho, Robben and Hazard...
We certainly were. Would have been even more successful with Ronaldinho in the team.We were still successful despite not signing Ronaldinho?
Really though? We certainly were. Would have been even more successful with Ronaldinho in the team.
Oh, I suppose you're right. He only went on to become one of the greatest football players of all time, doubtful he would have improved us.Really though?
Uh.. yes.Really though?
If we don't sign anyone else this will be a nightmarish transfer window.
Really though?
There's also no reason to use him as an example of if we don't sign those players we won't be successful. Also, there's no saying the guy would have gone the way he did at Barca and start partying, fergie or no fergie. Not sure if serious.
We needed a direct replacement for the big #7 right after Becks left and Ronaldinho was supposed to be exactly that. Sure, we got Ronaldo instead, but it took him 4 years to hit his prime. With Ronaldinho we would've seen immediate effect, who knows might've added another CL and a few titles between 03-07.
Who did that? I pointed out that penny pinching has denied us some fantastic players, who were willing to join us. Players who went on to be elite level. There's also no reason to use him as an example of if we don't sign those players we won't be successful. Will be very embarrassing for United if he does end up at Spurs. Levy’s known to be a tough negotiator aswell so you know it won’t be for financial reasons.
I blame the Glazers for allowing us to fall so far that even Spurs can look an even more attractive option than us. They’ve done feck all in modernising the stadium and they’ve let the club be run by a brand awareness specialist.
Nothing but congratulations for Spurs if they manage to pull this one off - a proper statement signing, and yet given the strength of Liverpool and City, they won't have the media pressure that such a signing usually brings to win trophies. Very exciting times for Spurs (if it happens).

Look, I can understand that we've had our fingers burned a few times, recently. Falcao, Di Maria, Sanchez etc. Paying big money only for players to flop but that the gamble. It's a risk worth taking because if it works out, like It did with Keane, Rio, Rooney, Ronaldo etc. then you'll more than likely be (more) successful. Our management and some people are stuck in the past where we could sign any player we wanted only for the allure of playing for United. Times have changed, we have to play a premium for players to join us and that's the only way to get back to the top. We need to throw at them any price/salary/fee they demand.
But, but Di Maria, Sanchez...I understand that managers want players that are 100% committed to joining your club but it doesn't always have to be that way. Roy Keane had already 'joined' Blackburn only we offered a better deal and I'm sure we've done deals like that many more times.
I was all for signing Sanchez. He was the one best players in the league. I haven't complained that it didn't work out. It was the right thing to do and I'd take that chance every time. You don't pass up the opportunity to sign world class players just because some haven't worked out.And if we had paid the same as Sanchez and he failed after moving to a league he clearly doesn't want to, you lot would be complaining how stupid and embarrassing United are for signing him in the first place.
If you want something to complain, complain about why Woody didn't buy Ole a midfielder when Bruno and Ndombele were both being sold in this market. Not Dybala.
I knowBut, but Di Maria, Sanchez...
What the feck kind of comparison is that? You're kind of a weirdo/freak eh. To each their own.So much for a muppet wanking season...
This thread now has the sad atmosphere of a bunch of guys who turned up for a gangbang with a beautiful pornstar, but she didn't arrive, and now the guys are just milling around chatting to each other with earnest, disappointed faces and puzzled frowns - some naked, others in the process of pulling their clothes back on...
Occasionally one of them mentions there might be a slim chance another pornstar will turn up - but that is mainly greeted with scoffs and shrugs.
A few guys line the outskirts of the room - heroically attempting to tug themselves back to rigidity... but to no avail.
Everyone in the room is as floppy as an Eighties fringe...
Suddenly, a lone figure emerges, still erect somehow... and f*pping up a mighty muppet rhythm!
The men suddenly perk up - hopeful eyes - curious as to what new, strange transfer material this lone wa*ker must have access to...
The men approach nervously - their fellow fan is now furiously tugging away, clutching his iphone and gazing intensely at the screen.
Hopeful voices chirp up -
"What you got there, mate...? Is it about Bruno?"
"Hey, Buddy, is it Eriksen...?"
The figure stops jerking off and slowly turns to face the men... a hideous grin plastered across his face...
This is no muppet... this is...
@Keefy18 !
Keefy turns his iphone to the crowd of muppets - slowly revealing what he'd been furiously self-loving over...
What the feck kind of comparison is that? You're kind of a weirdo/freak eh. To each their own.
We offered Keane less. He came to United because he wanted to play for United.I understand that managers want players that are 100% committed to joining your club but it doesn't always have to be that way. Roy Keane had already 'joined' Blackburn only we offered a better deal and I'm sure we've done deals like that many more times.
I'll stand corrected on that part then. I'm fairly certain when he told the story in a TV interview, he said after giving his word to Dalgliesh, he spoke to United and got a better offer. We offered Keane less. He came to United because he wanted to play for United.
From what I remember reading in his book, Blackburn offered him 400k/year.. We offered him 350k/year and he said 50k meant nothing as he was getting to play at OT.

"I was about £250,000 (a year) at Forest, which was a good deal. Blackburn offered me four hundred (thousand a year)," Keane said, before admitting he was tempted by Blackburn, as they were building an impressive side.
But Keane joined United for less money.
"They offered me three-hundred thousand a year," the former United captain said.
Keane goes on to say that United eventually offered £350,000 a year, and agreed to pay Forest £3.75m, a then British record transfer fee for a player.
Eh it's been stated everywhere we have agreed a fee with Juve.I love how a Tottenham fan can say “at least we’re trying for a player of that level - shows ambition”....despite no real evidence that this is the case. A bit of gossip about United being in for him however with it maybe falling through and we’re treated to our own “fans” coming on here to tell us we’re embarrassing....Red Cafe is becoming much harder to read these days because of nonsense like this from these so-called fans......
I think he's saying he's tired of United supporters being negative about every little shred of gossip.Eh it's been stated everywhere we have agreed a fee with Juve.
Not really a new phenomenon, to be honest.I think he's saying he's tired of United supporters being negative about every little shred of gossip.
Ah okI think he's saying he's tired of United supporters being negative about every little shred of gossip.
