If I don’t wanna take a job, I ask them mad money

Dybala looks like have the same strategy, with a support of a his friend as a “agent”, an argentinian car seller

My suggestion:

Stay away for this people
What exactly are you basing this on?

How bad is Dybala? Juventus desperately want to get rid..
Imagine a player coming back early to talk to the manager and being told to go home and not bother coming in to train.

Ed masterclass incoming. It just feels different this time.

Must have just got the news he's getting a big discount on his holiday after the window closes. Anyone want to start a go fund me so I can get the cnut. Smug face on him pretending like he's busy:lol:

Someone on twitter said that this situation is like on football manager when you want a player really bad, so you make a new manager for the team that he's on, and sell him to yourself for a disgustingly low price.

That is currently how I feel on the whole matter.

It was weird enough that Dybala wanted to fly back early and go meet Sarri in person, when all reports had made it clear he wasn't in their plans, and that they had made a deal with United for him. Now apparently Sarri didn't even meet him...?

And he's still not confirming with United. Is trying to get a bigger payout or even trying to move to another club altogether.

Sports journalists and related Twitter handles are all pretty much pieces of turd these days, so it's hard to know what to believe. But it's just all so cumbersome.

I'd really hate to see him be another one of our Argentinian mistake

Proper transfer saga with a hint of possible heartbreak, I just enjoy it at this point, hope for some flight tracking action as well

Really does feel like a novel plot climax except with a good gut feeling leading up to it instead of the gut wrenching one you’re used to from before

Ed/United really nearing #3, I’d say he’s somewhere around 2.75

If the choice is keep Lukaku or get Dybala for one year before selling to PSG, i would still take Dybala.

I'd prefer to sign Fernandes. Both are gambles for different reason but the BF transfer would be a lot cheaper and he fits the 'hungry player looking to prove a point' mould. Dybala has a few question marks over him as a player regardless, he's lukewarm on the transfer and he'll be getting the 'I've really made it' level of contract.

Agree, although in an ideal situation it wouldn't be one or the other. If we do choose Dybala over Fernandes we clearly haven't learned our lesson over signing players with the right mentality and attitude for the club.

He's not lukewarm. It sounds like he'd rather be pretty much anywhere else

All we know is that Dybala's #1 priority is staying at Juve, and is that really a bad thing? It shows he has loyalty and character, willing to fight for his place even though he's disrespectfully discarded by the club. We also know that he'd prefer Barca, RM and PSG as his next destinations, but that's not happening for him. There's only one source claiming he doesn't want United, and it's a dubious source to say the least.

So yeah, we're his fourth choice at best - then again, can you blame him?

I agree, it flies in the face of everything Ole has said about the right profile for players moving forward. You have to wonder if this is the player he wants or the board wants. There is no doubting his talent but if the mindset isn't there, it will cause problems. We saw the division Sanchez wages caused when he came in. Here we have a player that didn't have a great season last season potentially leaving a club that doesn't want him, who doesn't have a great international record for his country, coming in and wanting to be highest earner at club.

Think he's hoping one of the big Spanish clubs might come in and rescue him?

Nah, only PSG can if they sell Neymar or another more high profile player. Barca and Real are stacked in his position. Barca with Messi is pretty much a no go anyway and Real have no interest. His problem is Juve forcing him out this summer while not many clubs would look at him or can. I think Chelsea without the ban or maybe City, but they probably dont need him.

The wages bit I can see. Always felt United see him as earning a bit under Pogba or at best on par. If we agree to 10 mill after tax then he'll be paid more than Paul and we'll have to increase his wage too.
That should happen regardless of Dybala's transfer. Do you think it's possible to keep PP next summer unless we give him new contract soon? Buying Dybala + PP new contract + PP captaincy is the best course of action for the club now, ensuring adequate quality and stability.

Maybe, but you don't think that after being discarded by Juve that Dybala would feel like he also has something to prove at his new club?

No I agree. Said it before, probably around 425+ and PP be the top earner.

That’s not really what we’ve heard, so far we’ve heard that he wants to know where he stands with Sarri/Juve

Read between the lines.

Compared to Juventus, there are maybe 8-10 clubs in the world which are at par or a step up. If we're 4th or 5th on the list, then I think my point still stands.

Money coming for Him to go to inter in Icardi swap deal?

I hope they dont leave it too late and get some signings done.We should pretend the window shuts the 1st august. Then we
start panicking in July instead of now :)

how do 'we' know his preferences. I haven't seen any recent interviews in which he says the above.
