They used to be reliable and knowledgeable but now they're far from.
It's sad when two random people who no one on here has heard about before this transfer are more reliable than a huge media outlet like Sky
Yet the best a Sky Sports News reporter could get is a "We'll see" hahaI actually expected these 2 guys to have an update when Pogba left NY, why? Cos they are the only people who knew where he was staying. They met him the other day outside the hotel and just had to lurk around until they saw him with packed bags again to realise he is leaving.
Thats the thing, Pogba has had so many opportunities to put the rumours to bed completely and say he's not coming to United, yet he doesn't and even goes to the point of putting teasers on his instagram.Pogba is a big muppet himself. At least he's monitoring social media very much himself. "The Sport Bible" posted a picture of him 25 minutes ago with the tag "Pogba has just arrived in Manchester" and a few minutes later Pogba himself commented: "Old pic from last winter guys c'mon". I'm sure he enjoys all this attention.
Could get a helichopper across the channel?OK just to continue the muppetry on this Pogba move timeline....
Whatever he's coming to France to do (if the reports are correct) of a personal/ family related nature really can't be that important can it? It's not as if he's gone to visit a sick relative because otherwise he'd have cut his holiday short (unless he's a total cnut which is obviously a possibility).
If it's not serious, it can't take more than a few hours to sort out. Could he be at Wembley sitting in the stadium tomorrow I wonder?!!
Yeah, I reckon you're right about the personal business in France. Of course, if it'd been that important, he would've been there already.OK just to continue the muppetry on this Pogba move timeline....

Wouldn't even surprise me, tbf. Pogba: If you're reading this, give RedCafe a shoutout, or give us a hint in your next Instagram post.Pogba is probably reading redcafe.
Agree with you. I think the Pogba Mania has already peaked, and people are actually just getting impatient and annoyed that it hasn't been announced yet. But there's probably a good reason that it hasn't been done yet, and we should just stop listening to the media.Question...
I'm sure many of us expected this to have been wrapped up by now, so will the time it has taken and the copious amount of bs from twitter make the transfer that much sweeter when United announced it with him holding the shirt?
I'm sure if he'd have signed 2 weeks ago we'd be somewhat over it by this point. I'm at the point where it doesn't really bother me now, I've no muppet left in me for this one. I'll still be pretty pleased when it's done but the massive excitement has gone for me.

Originally, maybe, but their video showed what hotel he was staying at (Trump Soho), so anyone that wanted to properly stalk him after that could have easily enough.I actually expected these 2 guys to have an update when Pogba left NY, why? I feel that tomorrow will be different! Believe in a better tomorrow!

On the contrary, it has been made to look like a done deal but been dragged out so long it has gotten extremly boring. It has come to a point were you expect him to sign, where you already assume he is our player, the announcement is just a very important detail that has been missing. In my opnion dragging it out this much really destroys the excitment you feel when a new signing is announced.
From all the players we signed so far this summer, Bailly is the one that got my muppet juices flowing just because it was so out of the blue and unexpected and that is how I like them the best.
Exact feeling. The waiting for the announcement has made muppets numb.Question...

Agreed. Out of the blue and wrapped up quickly. I'm sure Jose wanted the Pogba thing to be done weeks ago as we all did but the time it's taken has sucked the excitement out of it for the most part.
Strange stalkers... I would be scared if I were Pogba.Seriously, these 2 are officially stalkers
On a serious note Pogba seems a bit of an attention whore and too obsessed with the off field privileges of being a superstar footballer for my liking,
We need to keep him away from Memphis when he comes and get him to concentrate on improving his game and fulfilling his unbelievable potential.
Agreed. More importantly : has his attitude or anything he did of the pitch ever been an issue? If no, then I honestly wish him all the fun in the world.I don't think this is so much the case. 1) He's been on holiday so his social media output on non-football matters would spike naturally, and 2) this thread has posters following his every move. We'd unravel the same about many other footballers if we put them under the microscope too.
He's 23 and single, which means regardless of career, he'll be out and about on more lavish activities. That doesn't mean he's not totally invested in football.

So him meeting celebs on holiday and his goal celebration are the mental barriers preventing him from being a.top player?
No his immaturity on the off the field are preventing him from becoming absolutely astonishing.
He is already a top player.
As the time goes by and they're still writing paperwork it starts to be put into doubt.
True but then people who are in committed relationships devote their time to the partner it's still expended energy, infact it's probably better being Single and out than sitting at home working on a beer belly like some in the squad.
Yes, dabbing and the unusual condition of being single at 23 are ultimately going to be what holds him back. Once he starts wearing skinny jeans we might as well ship him off back to Italy. So him meeting celebs on holiday and his goal celebration are the mental barriers preventing him from being a.top player?
