The thing about the news is, it wasn't conclusive when it would be completed. The guy said it can be concluded as early as Monday. So all that confirms really is that it won't be concluded before, but that also means that it could be anytime after Monday.
They haven't even made a tweet of it. Do not trust.

He isn't going to get another holiday this year. It's not like this is an interview where he needs to come by this day or he will not be employed. It's a £100M+ deal and people are acting in here like we are buying a fecking PS4 because it's not done when they demand. If he joins, i will agree that the United sqaud looks very good on paper, but you do not know how the transfer will work out and it is a risk to spend so much money on one player when you know a player can get injured anytime and there goes your money down the drain.

Although i quoted your post, most of it was for the pro optimistic, look for positivity in every tweet and beat down anyone who questions the transfers brigade. I apologize if i did not make it clear.

Plus he is not even worth the money United are playing, seeing United getting ripped off doesn't make a fan happy however rich United are and however small this fee is for the club.
