Hmm, already was just about confirmed he was coming but if that's true then it's settled. Will wait to see if anyone else comes out with those quotes first, could be fabricated.
He's not one to lie so that gives us hope.

What does he mean by it's closed? As in there will be a definitive answer on whether he's coming or leaving next week?

I assume it's like Di Marzio and Staff have said. It's up to printing documents and sending them out to lawyers and the involved people for signing. When this is done then press and official sources can "close" the deal as well.

This isn't direct at you womp just a general comment, however i think we all have to remember Juve/MUFC/Raiola aren't working on our time schedule of when we expect things to be done.

Well I just read through 15 pages of utter hysteria.

Once again, the people freaking out don't even take two seconds before resorting to belittling Di Marzio.

Raiola said "NO DONE DEAL"...DONE....DOOOOONE

For the last 48 hours we knew the paperwork had to be created and it had to be sent off to all parties TO BE feckING SIGNED.

How could there be an official "done deal" if we know the paperwork hasn't been signed?:lol::lol::lol::lol:

Do people even keep track of what Di Marzio and Staff say? The deal is done because all parties have an agreement! The paperwork needs signatures to be officially "done"

This thread is bonkers :wenger::wenger:

That takes time. I can already imagine Raiola sending the ravens to Manchester, Turin and Los Angeles with Zidane busy shooting them down

Next week Pogba can be closed. - Raiola.

Anymore doubts about him not coming you can stick it up your arse :)

He only says it CAN be closed next week, not that it WILL be. And he doesn't mention United, so clearly that means Madrid are back in it.

And yes, I'm joking, but I expect some of the nut cases to say that for real.

Ya of course, this is a matter of when, not if. I've been one of the ones trying to keep Ehsanul and his squad at bay this whole saga. :D

Can't see United announcing this before Zlatan's homecoming or Rooney's testimonial.

So it might be a longer wait than anticipated. United never announce deals 'subject to medicals'
It'll only be after all the photographs are done and he has done multiple interviews.

Unless Juve pull a Dortmund.

They are trying to time the deal for maximum media exposure, so:
This weekend its out, due to Zlatan's first game.
First few days of next week, Rooney's testimonial is Wednesday, so perhaps the club may not want to bring Pogba in at that time.
Perhaps to complete the deal during the buildup of the Community Shield might be a good opportunity.
I certainly hope they don't wait beyond

Didn't Di Marzio say that Juventus would announce in a few hours?

Might be

But I hope they let us announce it. It's a big deal for us and I don't mind waiting.

When someone like Martin Samuel puts his name to a transfer story,it's as good as BBC confirmation for me. He did the same with Shaw. He's argurably the biggest sportswriter in the UK. So I'm calm about this and don't mind waiting.

And even then , in a league so shit Juventus team is far above the other teams in Serie A, they have no comeptition at all, people talk about PSG, but Juventus have won Serie A, 5 years in a row, thats a joke ffs

I really hope money gets spent on better players
Like who? There isn't a better midfielder more suited to our needs available right now.

What a load of rubbish, am no LVG Fanboy but it does appear to me like a scathing attack from both Ladyman and Castles in all their articles. Are they sucking up to Jose to get inside info or are they asked by his team to attack LVG.

The English press simply hated Van Gaal and believed that he would fail miserably .

He just proved them right.

That guy isn't worth the attention.

The popularity of this thread means that some see it as a way to stand out. Nothing better than spouting negative nonsense.
I fear you're right.

The strange sight of inevitably seeing Pogba back in red is only trumped by @zlatan_ish 's location change. It doesn't look right him not rubbing in the fact Juve have a superior midfield to us consisting of our Pog.

It hurts mate. Pirlo, Vidal and Pogba gone in space of 2 years.

Well if you're going to keep ignoring/not understand the concept of this deal already being done, I'm not the daft one. If you cannot understand a marketing campaign, which maybe cryptic in it's message, is however, plainly obvious that the Pogba deal is done. Am I the daft one?!

I can understand if people are naive about the whole transfer/marketing of this Pogba deal. But with your reply to my message...it's obvious you're just THICK!

I'm attention seeking your reply!

I'm just bored of every other poster saying it is a 'done deal', yes it might be, but not one of those saying it knows anything, it's more a case that saying it soothes their doubts for a few minutes.

the adidas thing is just crap, and hardly cryptic, I refuse to believe they are been so blatant about things, after all Pogba is still a Juve player, they need to show some respect if indeed this a 'done deal'.

You've still got an incredible team, though! I still think your midfield will be better than ours come this season, too. Yeah, we have the names, but your midfield, even when Pogba wasn't at the races, was a proven force. Now, with the addition of Pjanic and Higuain, which will probably mean Dybala dropping deeper to accommodate Higuain's poacher instincts (correct me if I'm wrong), I think you could end up having an even more efficient midfield than previous years. Even if that isn't the case, that's still a fine midfield you have that many a team would be envious of. :)

Though, I won't lie that it feels good not to have to look at your Location after watching a Phil Jones or an Anderson in midfield anymore. :p

Juventus still have quite the midfield. Frankly, if we play Rooney in there, we're well below Juve standards even if we do add Pogba. Even without Rooney, we lack the overall class your team has (thanks for that, Davey + Louis). We're undoubtedly stronger with Mkhitaryan and Pogba, but my guess is we will either need some of the younger ones + Herrera to step up massively or will buy again next summer if we want to match the best ones in the world. Presently, I'd say that Bayern, Real, Barca and Juve are a cut above the rest of the world when it comes to the midfield. All that said, yeah, can imagine your feelings there. Would feel similar if we lost players like Ronaldo and Tevez in quick succession... Oh...

How come nobody else is running with that Raiola quote about closing the deal next week?

Then again, after calling them all parrots...
