Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

There's not much doing MAN-LAX these days, but I think one or two airlines might be. More likely you'd stop-over either in US or go LAX-LHR.
Just checked Expedia out of curiosity, using Friday August 26th as the date (didn't want to chose today because some flights might not show up if full and typically the flight schedule of one Friday would be the same as another Friday), and there appear to be no direct flights from LAX to Manchester.

United could charter a private plane for him, I suppose. I don't know if that's expected by athletes for long international flights or not. From LA to Manchester, I would think most private jets would have to make a stop to refuel, so the cost and the delay of that might not be worth it for Pogba or United (who knows, just speculating).

It's lunch hour here. I can confirm that after reading Mino Riola's comments, I now crave some pasta. See you soon guys.

Did he not adamantly deny that Zlatan was coming to United when it was clear that it was all wrapped up? I don't know what drives him, but he's been prone to wum in the past, so I'd take his words with all the salt in the Dead Sea.

I don't know the truth, you don't know the truth. People walking around with their heads in the sand are no better than people concerned with this.

I know what is blatantly obvious, and it's that Paul Pogba will be a Man Utd player soon. It's what everyone wants, and yet some in here seem to want to look for the bleak news instead of just relaxing and laughing it off.

Have you been present during all the transfer negotiations?
If you have, then please give us some ITK information. Most of the people reading this thread would be very interested.

This guy has been present and this is what he says:
It's part of Adidas campaign. The last tweet Raiola gave said No deal Blah blah blah. A few days later Adidas launch their blah blah blah teaser. A bit later they released the ad with Pogba Stormzy and the Utd logo with newspapers folded as Parrots. Go Figure

I'd expect him to shut the feck up, he is getting paid a fortune for this.
By adidas as well. they released the ad days after the blah blah blah tweet. he tries to act nonchalantly but everything this man does is carefully calculated.

Game tomorrow which will be all about Zlatan, fly back on Sunday, so maybe on Monday we'll get the announcement with the pics and interview on Tuesday, can't see it happening any earlier than that.

MR is right, although we have agreed the deal in principle we still need to conduct the medical and sign the contract, so basically he is telling the press they have jumped the gun so to speak.

It's not wum. It's common with these big transfers. Journos get ahead of themselves and start bullshitting about medicals, announcements etc. so they could be the first to say it...then the proper people deny it. We should just stick to what Di Marzio is saying.

Well..it is a little bit of wumming no doubt.

Only one reason this deal has taken so long - Mino Raiola.

Look at the Higuain deal, that was wrapped up in about a week.

It doesn't take that long to come to an agreement and draw up contracts.

You seem to get so offended when someone say something you don't like about Messi.
Is "something you dont like" the new way to describe something laughably wrong? You seem to have a weak grasp of comprehesion. It was a joke statement. If people laughing at a joke statement disappoints you then you're going to be perpetually disappointed. If it cheers you up I'd ready give a green smiley to anyone comparing Pogba's heading to Ronaldo's or passing to Xavi's. For what it's worth I'd love for Pogba's dribbling, heading, passing, strength to be as good as messi, ronaldo, Xavi and drogba, but I dont like being delusional.

Does no deal done between clubs mean that there's no fee agreed? Or just that the deal isn't done yet?

Qute a different story when you have a release clause. You meet it, you get the player (Depending on if they want to play for you)

Was the breakdown of the breaking of the "Shirt sales cover the transfer fee" myth in this thread? If so, I'd appreciate someone either posting it again or PMing me, cheers!

There's a difference between optimism and people who are so fragile, that they believe anything.

Yes you would know wouldnt you? How many of these meetings have you sat in? We didnt activate the release clause for Pogba. It aint that simple. Three parties involved in this deal because Juventus legally owe Raoila a cut because of the sell-on clause. Not the case with Higuain and his agent. Hence that deal had only two parties negotiating. Much more straightforward.

You are right about the connection. Raiola is probably playing along.

Got to love the guy, he got humour.

Probably part of some ad campaign. Raiola tweeted few weeks back 'Blah, Blah, Blah' and it was used by Adidas in their commercial. It's probably more of the same. Relax guys, we'll wrap it up in few days.

There is a lot more to a release clause than you may think.

I still think there has been a deal agreed between both clubs for a while now, it's just been Raiola trying to squeeze every last drop out of this deal.

This is a horrific marketing stunt for the transfer look at the two birds in the advert the left one is an Italian paper the right one is an English paper, the flag is on both.

Cheer up, we've all been there. Last year most of us got so muppet that we couldn't tell the difference between Memphis and someone good at football.

 in my defence, my Twitter is still going mad with people retweeting and favouriting my tweet, so I'm not a lone muppet! I'm not the only one seeing parrots....;)

You've just acknowledged my statement was correct. You realise that, yes?

That kind of makes it worse for me as it means Adidas, Raiola and Pogba are playing with the fans feelings over some stupid advertising campaign.

He didnt even mention the clubs. :D

Its nearly the same as the tweet about Zlatan maybe going to United maybe to some other club, who knows, or something along the lines.

I just mean in general really. By "no deal done between clubs" makes it sound like no fee is agreed between clubs. If he had said simply "no deal is done" then that would be a lot more obvious, as we know it's not done and official yet

It's the "between clubs" bit i don't get

Nervous Muppets, Get a grip.

It's part of Adidas campaign. The last tweet Raiola gave said No deal Blah blah blah. A few days later Adidas launch their blah blah blah teaser. A bit later they released the ad with Pogba Stormzy and the Utd logo with newspapers folded as Parrots. Now Raiola says 'Journalists = Parrots'. It's not a coincidence. He's making money from all this (from Adidas association with Paul). It's all an elaborate hype building exercise now. Funny how all of you ignore that he also said it's a competition to see who announces it first.

Raiola said Zlatan could move to a different club than United. He said that only a few hours before Zlatan announced himself on social media.

He's just hyping it up.
