Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Deal will be announced on Monday. I think both this and Higuain deal will be announced close to each other so Juve fans are catered to. Madrid arent in the picture at all. Read Marca, they seem to be saying only players that can improve first team will join, they say as Andre gomes wasnt gonna start anyway so madrid arent bothered he signed for Barca(yeah right!). They are madrids own paper, had they got any news of madrid signing Pogba for 100 million they would have started a campaign in greatness of madrid and florentino. Out would come the formations and how a taxi waits for him in madrid etc,
Calm down every one it will happen soon. No need to worry about madrid.

Hopefully your faith shall be rewarded. You are a worthy muppet!

 i have given up ages ago. Real Madrid wont give up so easily, they are bound to make a last ditch attempt and hijack it, cnuts.

SIGN PAUL FFS YOU CNUT!

Seriously guys, delays at this point are normal. There is so much legal contract stuff to cover and many parties are presumably involved. This is going to be a world record breaking deal, massive amounts of money needs to be distributed to a lot of parties etc. So there's a lot to cover. With so many parties involved (both club reps, agents, PR, image rights etc.) delays are natural. And don't forget that it is a weekend after all so a lot of establishments won't do any operations until Monday.

In other words, keep calm, Paul is coming home

Don't worry as like you they also give up the ghost quite some time ago.

The lack of updates the past few days is a little grating but I won't give up that easily.

I also think so. It looks Juventus is goint the Bayern route, they are weakening all their biggest domestic rivals (Roma - Pjanic, Napoli - Higuain) so they will have clear path to the title. But Juve can't splash so much cash without a big chunk of cash coming their way from United for the Pogba transfer. :)

The latest update you could say was like 5 days ago when media reported that a stumbling block, Raiola's cut of 20% was reached because Juve expect us to pay it when they're the ones who have the obligation to do so. The rest of the stories from that point were all to generate clicks or to cause unnecessary drama.

If Juve really don't want to sell, there's no way we're getting him unless we pay that 20% ourselves. The Real Madrid stories are just nonsense.

Didn't Cadena Ser confirm that Real Madrid are not interested in acquiring Pogba?

The delay is because of Juventus playing hardball. All the evidence:

- Mourinho press conference stating "we have other options"
- Juventus trying to force us to pay huge bonus when Pogba renews his contract
- Juventus refusing to pay the agent's cut
- Raiola flying to Miami

Personally, I would have walk away from the deal because Juventus clearly have no intention to sell. We have already put our best effort offering Juventus 100 million, if Juventus can't accept that there is no reason to continue negotiating.

Ed Woodward & Raiola should have asked Pogba to put in a transfer request if he really wanted to come. The fact that Pogba can't choose between Juventus and Us is alarming.

Van Persie was desperate to come here. Mkhitaryan cried & threw chairs at Dortmund to let him go. Zlatan knew he was coming here.

Basically, the lack of commitment from Pogba to force this transfer is worrying me. I would have walk away from this deal from the very beginning.

And you know this how?

Sorry to doubt the transfer but the lack of furniture throwing, fax machines and fake club representatives really makes me worry about this transfer happening.

The final stretch guys.

Juventus are getting Higuain.

I also think the deal will be announced Monday subject to a medical.

It'll be glorious.

I suppose Dave not saying anything during the Madrid saga meant he couldn't choose between us or Madrid. We should have pushed him out of the club using your logic.

Imagine Juve completing Higuain deal. Then we pull out and real only offer 60 million euros. Do you think juve would want that ? Use common sense. It will be done.

There is no evidence. It's just hearsay. Don't let your imagination make you fret. Just relax. It'll be fine.

Must be ITK. This thread is too funny tbh, conclusions are being made left, right and center whereas we have no new information.

Nobody has any information though, we just assume twitter is correct.

Amen. We also need more posts folks. What if the deal will be signed on Monday and we stop just short of the Vidal thread? Keep them flowing. :)

I must say that my gut instinct is becoming that this will not end well for us. My fundamental reasoning for this is my believing that it is the will of the player to join Madrid. I also don't believe that Madrid 'can't' afford anyone. All reports are that so far, they do not WANT to spend that much on him. But they are interested, and he player probably wants it too.

I wouldn't be surprised if he's willing to forego some of the considerable amount that is allegedly owed to him in order to push things in the direction of Real. Also, Real have no one else to go after it seems,, and of course they must get someone.

With Juventus spending Money like it is going out of fashion i'm sure all is agreed behind the stage.

We won't pull out. We will be outbid by Madrid.

Yeah, but with whom?

I've asked this before, but when was the last time Madrid came in at the last minute and stole a player with a big bid without any of their media mouthpieces knowing about it? Obviously it's not impossible, but we're talking soemthing like a 5% chance here. Also it would be a huge betrayal from Raiola if early reports that the deal had been agreed were to be true, after all the money he's gotten from us this window.

The reports from last week were that Pogba has told Juve that he wants to leave and join United. How much more can he force it? It's up to United to do what it takes to get Juve to release him. Juve will make it as difficult as possible until the club coughs up as much as possible, because Pogba is a superstar.
