Do you want Pogba for £100 million?

Would be genius of Gardner to troll the United fans just to get the ratings up and make even more dollar from this.

I do think its important Jose gets the very best out of Pogba, he is a natural CM, but? I think he is best in the prime years ahead he is played has advanced as possible, that means he takes rooney's place, and that is what must be the priority for Jose Mourinho. It would be criminal to try and build the team still around rooney who has peaked, and keep Pogba deeper, when someone like Pogba who has not even reached his mid 20's yet. We do have Herrera, we do have morgan, hell I would rather carrick fellaini in midfield, if it means Pogba is let loose who has all the attributes to rip teams apart
I agree about Rooney.

But I'm really tired of talking about him though. One day he'll leave. I won't wait with baited breath.

Pogba is best as the most advanced of our midfielders and hopefully he gets the chance to show that in a 4-3-3

No chance the medical will be done by 9 really, gotta be fake, if you watch that scoutnation pogba clearly has about 43 legs, it will takes days if not weeks to tap each of them with a tiny hammer.

Come on people. 9pm is not happening.

United can still announce it. Mutv would just have a banner running along the bottom announcing the deal and then promoting a show later. We've the website too and maybe adidas will do something too ..so I wouldn't worry about what's on MUTV

Who knows if they will though? :)

Don't want another toure on our hands where we never got the best out of such a brilliant midfielder that pogba is, he really could destroy midfielders and defenders if he is given that freedom. And the money we paid for him, it would be pointless if he is not in his best position which is an AM

Why is 9 too late for England? LeBron announced his "decision" at around that time and it was still highly watched. Does the UK just go to sleep early or something?

Right so is this happening tonight? Been out of the loop a tad.

Apparently the fee is about £15m higher than it would have been before the fall in the pound against the euro. So Pogba is only the most expensive player in the world because of Brexit.
Wasn't Bale, 100m euros, so Pogba's fee in Euros would have set the record regardless? The GBP conversion would have been lower pre-Brexit.

The larger point is that Brexit "cost" United £15m...in theory, anyway. Several people have mentioned that United's accounts are done in US dollars, so unless the dollar has changed drastically versus the Euro, it didn't really cost the club more.

At least that's my understanding, but I'm hardly an expert on how exchange rates impact the books in various countries when it comes to international purchases, so anyone can correct me if I'm wrong.

Interesting, you have a German team you support? Or just Juve is your primary club.

When I was a kid, I also had a German team, but that was a long time ago. It's been only Juve for over 15 years at least and around 20 years in total (now I feel old). I even support Italy over Germany, because I mainly watch Italian football and have more attachement to the Italian players. And of course, Juve players usually are the foundation of the Azzurri Team.

I'd assume for worldwide audience purposes, an afternoon announcement at about 2/3PM would be ideal?

The Asia fan base would be sleeping at 9.

Wow, supporting Italy over Germany is quite something .
