The guy left us for our biggest European rivals in hes prime years, and helped them win 2 European Cups, and uses us for publicity every summer. Personally i think he is far far down the list.
 
Can't wait for him to be in the team. Going off today's side it's hard to see who it'll be that makes way though!
 
It will be very interesting how we set up with Pogba in the team. He really does play like having a number 10 that can defend in central midfield which suggests a switch away from a 4-2-3-1 since the number 10 will either need to play almost like a 2nd striker instead of an attacking midfielder like Rooney is doing these days.
 
Dont see the problem with him playing in a midfield 2. He was only bad when he was told to sit back, which is the role of a defensive midfielder. He will take the Fabregas role where he contributes little in defense and mainly looks for attack where he links up with the likes of Martial, Zlatan, Rooney.

People forget that they didnt think Fabregas would work in a midfield 2... but it did. Thats because he had the licence to roam, to pick the ball up anywhere. Pogba will do the same.
 
Pogba will obviously take Herrera's place on Friday.

I predict... Pogba-Fellaini behind Rooney with Mata-Ibra-Martial up top.

It worked when Matić was devouring everything in sight and on top of his game. Once his level dropped, the entire ship sank. With Hazard as captain of the ship and Cesc as first mate.

It helps that Pogba is a beast physically and has good defensive contributions. Fabregas nearly did nothing at all to help Matic. I dont see your point here mate.

My point is that it didn't work in the long term.

Pogba is a talented attacking midfielder with a good work ethic. He gets pigeonholed with previous French midfielders such as Vieira and Makélélé because of his colour.

He's closer to a Zidane than any of them. He is skilful and graceful, while also being a powerful player. He needs to play where Rooney is or as the most advanced of a midfield three.

I'm sure he can play in a two, but it would be like driving a sports car around the town rather than out on the open road. Restricted.
 
The Pog will be an 8 but be able to be a 10....so how about we call him 8/10?

When Wayne drops deep, Pogba will float up the pitch and link up/play off Zlatan and Martial on the left channel.

Can't wait to see Pogba and Zlatan both stand over a free kick. It's unreal.
