No, but I don’t wish injury and personal misfortune on people because I feel they did my football team wrong. This isn’t binary. There are levels to how annoyed people feel about this and I don’t get how it’s affected some of you this much.

Re: Pogba. I always said it was a mistake renewing him again after his contract was expiring. Good that he rejected us, replacing his role in the squad with Eriksen was a very good decision.

Having an issue with someone taking pleasure in someone else’s personal misfortune (as if they’d been personally wronged or Pogba’s committed some heinous crime) doesn’t mean I’ve never disliked someone in my life. I just find it weird to take it as far as some of the things I see on here when it’s just football. Save your social commentary for another time.

What's "just football" You don't know everyone, you don't know what it means to them. For some people the success of their football club is all they have. I mean if it was "just football" we'd watch the game on saturdays and nothing else, but the reality is we're on here all the time, probably following news on social media, watching clips or shows on Youtube, we're feeling like shit the day after a loss, feeling on top of the world the day after a trophy, because it's clearly more than "just football" So when someone is such a disruptive force to the thing that brings people pleasure and pain then people might have emotions tied to their opinions of them.
 
Darmian now will have a CL runner up medal in his pocket, in addition to his achievements in being a Serie A and Europe League winner.

So according to some here, he has achieved more than 90% of footballers in the world.

Pogba has starred in, scored in and won a World Cup final. He's been named in multiple Teams of the Year/Season (UEFA, FIFA, Serie A, PL, EL) and top 20s for the Ballon d'Or.

You are being awfully dense, obviously on purpose.

The only mistake Ole made regarding Pogba was not selling him when the player wanted out in 2019.

Anyway good luck to Pogba, hope the injury isnt too bad and he can get back to his old Juventus form and enjoy playing again

Pogba was no different for France and United, this has to be one of the biggest myth around.
 
Apparently Juventus only want €10m (£8.5m) for Pogba this summer

He was really good on the rare occasion that he showed up, it’s quite sad his stock is now so low at a point he should be in his prime
 
Looks destined for KSA league. Not suited for top clubs and don't think he has it in him to be the main man at a smaller club.

I doubt Pogba has ever faked injury but what he has repeated history of doing is surrounding himself with people who give him bad advice. He should have taken the surgery option he was advised to do but decided against it at Juve, this is in the recent BBC article, and at United there was a similar instance where Mou even said in a presser something about him doing too much fitness work at home, the club warned him about it and then he overdid it and injured his hamstring.
 
Pogs has always been an enigma. He clearly has bags of talent but for whatever reason.. laziness, thinking too much of himself.. he always appears in that "What if.." category.

He is neither someone that busts a gut for 90 minutes or someone that changes every game, so he appears in that middle ground and that place is always expendable.

His off-field lifestyle hasn't always helped the perception we have of him either, but SAF got it spot on by letting him go, he isn't the type of player we want.

Good luck to him but we are onwards and upwards.

Possibly a player who's reputation never justified his ability or talent.

Good player but unfortunately came to prominence during the YT/Social Media explosion where highlights and clips go viral.

Never was the player he was marketed to be.
 
I think the club and fans got sucked into the whole "United let him leave for pennies" thing. It ended up being imperative for the club and fans to being him home to avoid embarrassment. That ended up being a bad move.

In hindsight we should have avoided the move altogether or brought in other midfielders and waited for his Juve contract to run down so we could maybe get him at a lower cost.

His injury problems and attitude would have needed to be different but even in his periods of fitness we didn't get the best out if him and it speaks to how badly run the club was from the top to the bottom.

Us being shite during his years was the biggest reason the myth around his talent or potential still continues. He has had worse availability than Martial in the last 3 years or so and even when he played, we could barely get any consistency out of him. Him leaving just before Ten Hag was one less big issue for him to deal with.

ETH would have axed him. Not available, big money, big ego or personality (for better or worse) Couldn’t or wouldn’t put in the work. Made us super easy to press. He’d have been out the door along with Ronadlo. Football has moved on and you can’t carry players like this, not for 90 million or even now on a free transfer.

I shudder thinking about the fact that we had offered him a new, big contract. The only good thing he has done for us is rejecting that.

Am far from being a fan, but SAF didn't let him go, he left.

Who remembers the horror of having Gibson and Rafael in midfield!
 
Was so excited when we signed him, i thought he'd elevate us to a the next level, we were crying out for an athletic CM who could carry the ball.

Never been so disappointed with how a signing has turned out before, awful signing.
 
Do we now have the magical midfield to get the best of him or nah?
