Pogba is a great player, but not a player for us.

Don’t think Pogba will play regularly for United again. I hope Ole has realised he have to trust players who are disciplined, loyal and are all in for him and the club.

Pogba‘s mood affects his and the teams play to much, and we have to avoid instability. I think he’s been the root to our imbalance on the midfield and have made United more unstable.

Pogba is gone when next window opens, and I look very much forward to it.

Please don't have a go at me because I just want to know the opinion:

The 352 :

I like it and we saw the less anxious versions of Mctominay, Fred and Wan Bissaka because they had 3 defender's playing behind them.

Can we play Pogba in this midfield?

I think the 352 looked good but we are playing one player extra defensively than we should considering Mctominay, Fred and even Wan Bissaka can be quite defensive players.

De Gea
Lindelof - Varane - Maguire
Wan Bissaka- Fred - Pogba - Shaw
Bruno
Cavani - Ronaldo

Does this lead us to the same weaknesses? Or does having the back 3 on paper cover the cracks of Fred & Pogba (or Mctominay/Pogba).

I ask because since the links to Conte I have been looking at his old 352 or 343 - but he did have Fabregas & Kante in midfield.

I feel we could use that creativity in midfield that a player like Fabregas brings in midfield when playing a 352.

Ole quote from presser thread:

What’s this all about?
The Sun had a "Pogba snubs Solskjaer;... shelves contract talks" headline so Pogba reacted to it on twitter by saying it's "lies to make headlines". I assume that's what it's about.
Not the answer you were looking for? You seemed interesting enough to post this in multiple threads but disinterested once it turns out that Pogba had sought out the manager to tell him he had posted himself (not his staff) on Instagram to call out the lies and back the manager out of respect.

In theory, all of our midfielders benefit from having a 3-at-the-back system. But yesterday, this wasn't the only change, we also had the approach to sit deep and wait for counters, had Varane back and Spurs were as toothless as it gets. Big chance, that the same result might have happened in a 4-1-2-1, with the same approach, Fred next to Pogba slightly in front of McTom having Bruno feeding two strikers. If sat deep, you kind of wouldn't even have noted the difference I guess.

Pogba will start on Tuesday

The 352 will suit him more. More coverage at the back. It’s what France have been playing lately when I’ve seen them, with Pogba + 1 and Griezmann at 10

Atalanta 2:2 Man Utd
Praying he turns down the contract offer. Ideally he leaves in January for a fee.

Awful.

That may be the worst I have seen Pogba play.

He wasn't even 0/10, he should be in negative numbers.

Couldn't pass the ball 5 feet away and it was hilarious when the commentators were blaming Ronaldo and Bruno for not anticipating the miss pass :wenger:

A Paul Pogba masterclass. Ball retention, pass completion, cutting edge passes. controling the tempo, he had it all. Should give him a million a week contract after tonights performance.

Pogba has literally wasted five years of his career at us after being lied to that we were going to win the biggest trophies.

I don't blame him for wanting out

Proper 0/10 performance there. I was zooming in on him after he tried to dribble through 3 Atalanta players near our box in 1st half, and he was fecking atrocious. Never made available himself for a pass, only times he got on the ball, when he was deep or Atalanta players backed off him. Play Donny instead of him, he's either off or just doesn't care anymore, fecking disgrace.

He was rubbish tonight, but so we're most of them.

He shouldn’t play for us again.

He was meant to be huge part of that. Still waiting for his breakthrough season 5 years on.

At this rate he is going down as our worst signing of all time, given what we paid for him.

Nah we've wasted five years on him.

This guy is a disgrace.

Can't want to see the back of him. Tired of this shitty cycle : one great game followed by an absolute shit one.

Already hit the quota for good games this season. We would've won it if he hadn't played tonight, I'd rather have Matic and Fred, at least they never stop trying

Should we just wash our hands of him now and freeze him out?

I don't think its possible to display how little you care without it becoming utterly comical as much as he has done tonight.

A player in his peak years, should be over the immaturity and inconsistency of youth, be a steadying influence, someone who can adapt to different requirements but Pogba... The gap between his top and lowest level is comical. What is the point of another contract, what is going to change, we go into his 30's still trying to work out a way to use him like France do(which is in 98% of the games they play have a massive talent advantage, and a slow paced game for him feel comfortable in)

Ok but what about the shit he served up tonight? That performance tonight wasn't a one off either, it happens far too often.

Clear as day he looks completely disinterested. Worst player on the park and that’s some going considering how awful Maguire was.
