Yeah but he was central for the vast majority.
He was majestic today, should have had a goal to go with his three assists.
You just have to make the necessary changes to get him in the pitch, you just have to.
Makes me laugh when people say he shouldn’t have a team built around him because A) we haven’t done anything of the sort here and B) he’s without doubt the sort of player you DO build a team around becuase his output and vision is elite level - you will not improve on it from deep.

On the left or tucked in, it doesn't matter. What does matter is playing him as we did today allows for two grafters behind him.
If you want him to officially be an 8 you have to drop one of them and to me no way only one can play.
This is perfect. Pogba vs Rashford for that spot. Let them go at it.
Annoying thing is the club he goes to will probably put him on the left of a 433 like at Juve. We've been showing the world how not to play him for years.

The bits I heard was obviously positive. Mentioned specifically that he gave him freedom and that he enjoyed and was really good etc.
The performance today just highlights how poor he was last year. No idea how he can produce that today and be a bag of poo for most of last season. He’s always been a top player but hasn’t shown it often enough. Let hope he continues like this for the rest of the season before he goes to PSG.

Yeah and he looks really happy. Actually now I feel we have a real team environment with lots positivity and happy players. I think Bruno has been immense in bringing back life and belief to Utd. Lots to look forward to. All the discussions around players to get after Pogba leaves have been really cringe worthy - he is a truly world class player! May his great start last for the season.
The stat about assisting more today than the whole of last season, shows how bad last season was more than how good he was today tbh.

Weirdly I kinda felt like he was having a bit of a standard Pogba performance. Moments of magic mixed in with some sloppiness and over playing but how can anyone deny the quality of this guy. I think like Ole says you’ve really kinda just got to give him the freedom to do stuff. Sometimes it isn’t going to work sometimes it is.
The problem is today coming off that left he was able to get in to areas where you’d want him as an 8. However would Ole really sit Rashford and have Pogba as his guy at LW so we keep getting him higher up the pitch or will he go for the 433.
At times I do think he was caught out centrally causing us problems on the wings. Shaw and Maguire did seem to be struggiling to contain and even Leeds goal he reacts to it very late and has to sprint out from a central position.

He was immense today, we all love and want this Pogba to show up most weeks but I'm pretty sure by game week 5 he'll be being hauled off on the hour mark for prancing around the park. I really hope I'm wrong, I really would like him to knuckle down, sign the new contract and do this 20+ games a season instead of 8. If he does that he's welcome to stay as long as he wants

Pogba has more talent than most footballers. When it all comes together, it's just a thrilling watch.

The thing is he'll put in a standard of performance like this on another week, but the attackers wont finish the chances, or his passes won't be quite as accurate and his detractors will say that he's inconsistent, virus, etc.
The way he played today wasn't some otherworldly performance, this is standard for him, hence why it looked so easy.

That never happened he was great for most of the season that he was fit. In fact he and Shaw were our best players until he got injured against Sheffield

No central midfielder in the world has the entire package a footballer needs like he does. He just oozes talent. Just give him the money and put this back and forth of if he is leaving or not to bed.
