You would assume that a 5 1/2 year deal is on the table so from a PSR stand-point you have a £30mil fee divided by 5 (£6mil) for this year and you would imagine a pretty low starting wage so the cost of this transfer isn't all that much. If you get some money off the books i.e wages via loans/ or through loan fees then it isn't a massive expense to cover for this window.
Who has said 40 million? It appears that the starting point for Lecce is 30 with what seems like ample room to talk them down when you consider their previous record sale.

They're the only deals we get for our players. Get him to kick up a fuss and offer a decent price based on him doing well.

Can say that about virtually all our recent transfers that ended up materializing too to be fair. We've just been hurt too many times.

Dorgu is a really good player to go for. I've recently mentioned his name as well on here.
Great physicality and athleticism, height, and pace. A similar profile to Davies / Mendes, so it's clear what kind of LWB we want. Dorgu could probably play LCB too which is another big plus for me personally.
My only questions about him would be about immediate impact. As another poster above me said, he'd be another project player with not a lot of experience at first team level so far.

I would agree with this. Premier League proven and around peak age.
You would imagine that Nouri would be 100k probably on wages and Dorgu a fair bit less. Will make the deal considerably cheaper.
All we have to do is find 6m (the amortised fee). If Antony and Rashford leave, there’s 6m in wages right there. Unless it doesn’t work like that? Any accountants in here?
