Patrick Chinazaekpere Dorgu is a Red

PD:
“I am incredibly proud to be able to call myself a Manchester United player; this is a very special day for my whole family.

“I cannot wait to work with Ruben Amorim; his vision for this team and the future of the club is incredibly exciting. There is a clear plan set out for my development, and I feel that Manchester United is the perfect place to fulfil my potential and complete my huge ambitions.”

Wilcox:
“Patrick is a really exciting talent; his strong defensive and attacking attributes, adaptability and work-rate will make him a key part of Ruben Amorim’s squad.

“Patrick has had a superb start to his career, and at the age of just 20, we know he will continue to develop under the guidance of our excellent coaching team.

“Patrick is the latest exciting young player that we have brought into the club. We believe that each of these talents has world-class potential and the ability to play a key role in achieving the success that everyone at Manchester United is striving for.”

The first Amorim signing that we will see in action, let’s see if the new era has more success than the last when it comes to identifying players!

Welcome Pat!
Third player of Nigerian descent to sign for United. Hopefully he fairs much better that the first two. Though I personally still have hope for Zirkzee.

Fingers crossed for this, a decent LWB could have a big impact, and allow Maz to go to RCB and Dalot to RWB.

Welcome to the club Dorgu! I hope that he can break into the team quickly in the left back position. He seems to have the physical attributes that we’ve been craving so hope he’s got the ability to go with it too.

Finally, a left-footed wing-back who will provide much needed width, as opposed to seeing our players struggle to progress play and cut in on their right. Hopefully, he can become a transformational signing for this current team, contributing to the attacking phases and variations

I watched the Inter game last week because of him, it was a difficult match, but he looked good on the ball, good decision making and sees the pass, as well as good physically of course, but he also was a little sloppy at times and far from the finished article. Can imagine we’ll need a little patience with him.

Welcome Patrick, didnt know that he has Igbo heritage. Chinazaekpere=God answers prayers.
