I think Frankie Boyle is a knob.
one of the few Coldplay song I do like.
He is. Comes out with the occasional funny thing but is often just sick for the sake of being sick.
Never found it funny what he said about downs , but he's having a go at Cold Play.

Really? Fair enough. Maybe I was just disappointed because I loved the opening Olympic one so much and was subconsciously comparing the two.
Good decision to give one band such a long stint on stage - flowing nicely around them. That said I'm hoping for a hat-trick of Bohemian Rhapsody references...

Me too; I was sure the whole thing was going to be an epic disaster and I intended to avoid it all - very happy to have been completely wrong.

I really dont think they will, they have the World Cup to hold and everybody will be looking at these games and comparing, they dont have a chance.

this is maybe my fav Coldplay song and I know they have there haters but I think they have done an excellent job so far.

I am going say this is better than the Olympic Opening so far.
Coldplay have been excellent. Better to stick to one or two good acts instead of putting on so many that you get some good mixed with some utter shite like No Erection.
