What is this Wonga (What kind of name is Wonga?) stuff about? I remember that he initially spoke against it as it was against his beliefs or something but ending up wearing the shirt. I don't really consider that to be so hypocritical?

He was caught publicly gambling. It was hypocritical to claim he wouldn't wear the Wonga shirt for religious reasons whereas gambling was fine.
Once you're going to talk about religion, when you're someone famous, people are naturally going to analyze your consistency.

I doubt Papiss is a devout muslim. He was seen gambling in Casino's multiple times, also willing to bet he drinks regularly, and has sex with multiple side chicks. Yup, those are definitely the actions of a religious man.
