I'm not sure about the football brain part but Dembele is more explosive and can comfortably play either side due being genuinely two footed. Personally I feel Dembele has the ability to score 20 goals a season because he can bang with both feet.

He's very loose with his technique and often misplaces simple passes which stands out like a sore thumb at Barcelona, but then so did Sanchez and he went on to be a hit at Arsenal. Even so, I'd be surprised if he was allowed to go on loan because his pace definitely brings something different to Barcelona's attack. If we can, then it's a no brainer as even with his injury record, Greenwood and him are great options for the right and he can also fill in for Rashford on the left.
I could be wrong but i'd say £70m and that includes the loan fee.

Chelsea have no real need for him but Liverpool have a far better and more attractive project than us plus they could easily get big money from selling one of Salah/Mane next year probably to PSG when Mbappe eventually leaves. Also based off how unprepared we look on the pitch and the likes of Spurs/Arsenal/Everton/Wolves looking strong we may even struggle to get top 6. The chances of us having another free run at Sancho is very very slim.

If we can get a reasonable purchase fee agreed then I'm all for it. He would probably rotate with Greenwood and can cut through deep lying defences with a flash of skill unlike kick and run wide players.
We can play Elanga there instead of signing such shit as Costa. But we also need to lower our ambition to a mid-table club level in such case.

I would be delighted with a fit Dembele. He has everything to be world class. But that’s the problem, he’s not shown he can remain fit for his whole time at Barca. It’s a big gamble to hope it’ll change here.
If Utd do agree a loan with obligation to buy. Then the obligation needs to be based on him making a certain number of appearances at the least.

Better than Mbappe when he moved to Barcelona at the time and a better player than Sancho? Not sure did we watch the same player, his decision making is questionable at least. Not taking Sancho and paying close to 100 million for Dembele doesn't make any sense.

The lad plays five games and is out, regularly, and seemingly has no desire to play. There is no way Barca are selling for anything under 80m, it would be a disaster on their accounting. They heavily rely on the valuation of players to keep the club finances going. Selling Dembele for a massive 70-90m loss isn't happening (35m is only about 10m more than they would want as a loan fee). The best we could see is a loan with an obligation to buy, they are not going to let us just loan him even to get his salary and if they do we should probably be wary anyway.

Dembele is more likely to skin a defender repeatedly and leave him to eat dust. However, Sancho while being less flashy is more efficient, has better decision making /vision and combines better with the collective as opposed to playing alone Vs a defender.
It's a bit like Neymar constantly needing to tricks whereas Messi does just the right things to execute things perfectly. Obviously neither is comparable to the genius of Messi, but that ability to do what you want without overdoing things (which Pogba lacks and Messi has) is something I think Sancho has more. Which is where the football brain part stems from.
