☎️ OPERATION EXIT Ousmane Dembele, his physical weakness and attitude place him in the market. If a good offer arrives, the club will evaluate his departure. Malcom If Valverde leaves, can continue to have more speculation. Likewise for Coutinho, the Premier can be his destination #mercato

I wouldn't mind him here. Yes he has been below par at barca but could be great for us.

He will improve us but I don't really think he is all that of a player.

Dont think he is good enough for City Or Liverpool in the PL either.

Is that source any good? I'd pay even more then I would for Sancho, I think he'd light up the premier league.

Also fyi he's actually been very good for Barca when he's played, just been injured a lot.

Not convinced he’s a job for Solskjær tbh. Under a different manager, I may have a bit more confidence in him delivering on his vast potential.

Besides, I’d prefer his Dortmund successor, although Dembele would be second choice on any list of right wingers if he were on the market. Sancho seems to fit much better though, in terms of profile within the squad too. Will likely settle better.

Could see Dembele being a Mané type player though, with more talent too.

Tier 1 for Barcelona is what I keep hearing. This is the same guy who said De Ligt was close to United. Make of that what you will.

That last minute missed sitter vs Liverpool still grates. They would’ve been dead and buried.

Would still have him here though. Better than Martial, Lingard and Rashford combined.

Injury free and on confidence, he is excellent. But he has some issues, on and off the pitch. The talent is obviously there. I would take him without question, but i am not sure if we can make him work currently in our position

That translation isn’t quite correct:

Dembele, his physical weakness and attitude puts him on the market. If a good offer arrives, the club will evaluate his departure. Malcolm, if Valverde leaves, can go on to have a bigger role. Coutinho’s destination could be the premier league.

Only corrected because it’s says nothing about Malcolm leaving. In fact saying the opposite, that Valverde’s exit could lead to him having a bigger role in the team.

Clear example of talent not cutting the mustard. Leave him to go Spurs. If we want to win medals again we don’t need players like Dembele.

And fund De Ligt to Barca? No way
Barca would ask for 100m min. Cant see any club spending that much on a player who has barley played for 2 years

Would love him here. The quintessential United winger if there ever was one. Alas, I think it's not true, but a guy can dream...

No brainer if he’s available. I’m in for him. Good pace & he plays more direct which the type of football we are playing. While with Barcelona, they play more possessions.

Imagine him on the right and Martial on left when things are going bad ? Can't get worse !

I didn't know he had attitude issues. Anyone know more about it?

With him and Rashford in the lineup no one would ever dare to play a high line against us.
Barca would probably want to recoup what they paid for him, which is around 120M.

He forced the Dortmund leave by not coming back from the summer-break to the training. Enough said? There are more stories, but this action alone should be clear enough about his attitude.

They literally knew that when they signed him though, so I can't imagine it's a reason to get rid.
Unless he's lost ambition and doesn't work hard anymore ala Ronaldinho I can't see it really.
Also he was pretty good this season, bar injuries, definitely better than Malcom.

Apparently he has a close group of friends and he hosts gaming parties for them. They do it really often and they eat a bunch of junk food which resulted on him getting sick and missing one practice. So he's had problems with Barcelona because him staying late at night playing and his bad eating habits contribute to his bad form and he hasn't stopped.

They are looking to sell Dembele and Coutinho? Griezmann alone won't be enough to fill the gap. Maybe they'll push for Salah or Mane

Oh come on now. He is so good that I would take him over Sancho or Felix purely from a footballing qualities POV.

Talent-wise he's superior to Rashford and Martial.

But he's immature and frequently injured. We have too many of those kinds in our squad already.

Despite that he's a player who's worth the risk but not for 100+ mil.

Those damn millennials. Thanks.

So the tweet says. In the case of Dembele it seems to be more of “if we can get all our money back, we’ll take it and reinvest”.

No one is going to pay what they did for either of these players. Gone are the days where clubs fought for the scrap that these clubs sold.

He will settle down well with our bunch

The catalan press will do it every summer aren't they?

Too good to sign here unfortunately. We should sign Sancho. Even if he isn't half the player that Dembele is, he is english and we shouldn't have to much competition to sign him...

He indeed has shit attitude but is outrageous talent.

Wouldn't say no. Even at 100m probably a risk we should take, considering how much we need player like him.

The people saying no are crazy imo.
No, not really. He has attitude issues which were evident ever since Barca showed interest in him. At Dortmund,he didn’t show up for training, he disobeyed the club, he was giving interviews and doing all kinds of shite to get that transfer. And once he did get that transfer, he started making outrageous demands. I remember reading an article where he was demanding separate flats for him, his family and others.

Here are a few comments from people who have managed him or play with him -

Deschamps -
Dembele was absent from training due to a stomach bug but failed to inform the club of his absence until an hour and a half after he was meant to arrive because his phone battery died.
His national team manager Deschamps has fired an aggressive warning to the fourth most expensive player in the world.

"Ousmane has been with us for a while. That's his usual trick to be late, but in his defence, I'm sure he'll say: 'I'm not the only one.'
So it’s not just with Barca, his attitude is the same with the National team too

Suarez -
"Being a footballer is a privilege, I think he should concentrate mainly on football, and be inspired by the examples of professionalism in the Barça dressing room,"

Here’s another article which is about his attitude problems -
https://www.goal.com/en-in/news/gam...oublemaker-dembele/12nj492ufdme11f0dgxlb7vnmr

Since he arrived in the summer of 2017 he has been late to training and other meetings or events on numerous occasions, showing a lack of respect for the club and his team-mates.

There have been other complaints about the amount of time he spends playing video-games, often at inopportune hours, while his professionalism regarding diet has been called into question on numerous occasions.

He’s extremely talented, but talented doesn’t mean shite if his attitude sucks. Considering the number of primadonnas we have in our squad, adding another one by spending 100-150 mill is not the best idea. People have problem with us signing Rabiot on free and he’s not caused half the problems Dembele has caused.

Barca put in a lot of effort and money to get Dembele in. They know how talented he is but despite all that they are allegedly looking to sell him. That should be clear enough an indication for us to stay away
