Not really any major shocks on the cards i wouldn't have thought.

There could be some modicum of entertainment or cringing from the speeches.

Just as an aside, i see that Sandra Bullock has been awarded the Razzie for worst actress in her performance in All About Steve. I have not heard of the film and thus not seen it, which is jsut as well apparently.

"El secreto de sus ojos"?

Good movie. It has shocking scenes, but the story is striking. Ricardo Darín is also a guarantee on the big screen.

he started as a soap opera actor, he was so cheesy, but he became a very good actor

the thing is that i did the same work he portrays in the movie, so i know, for a fact, that the story is perfectly adjusted to the court work reality in buenos aires, that's why i want the movie to win

Francella's work was also impressive. A comedian making a character who at the end of every sentence leaves an autentic perfume, there you can see the Francella's facet., but without losing the essence of his character on the movie.

I want to see 'In the Loop' take best adapted screenplay, though it is probably to riske considering there are more swear words in it than any other film known to man.

If anyone needs the link for a stream send me a PM, i have one thanks to Carloth_Teveth in the Newbie Forum.

I'm pleased the Young Victoria got an award, Emily Blunt shouldn't have been overlooked.

Urgh. The Oscars. I really couldn't give a shite who wins what.

Was I right in hearing that every nominee has been given a 'goody bag' with £60k worth of shite in it?

Whatever is going on right now with the folkstyle dancing is really, really fecking gay

I know, but we Americans expect people to be uber-proud of anything from their country that is successful in the US. Like Slumdog Millionaire. All people of Indian heritage are supposed to be thrilled that they won last year.

I realized how prevalent it is after hearing Aziz Ansari talk about it.

Bridges or Freeman

Precious needs to win best picture, kill off the buzz of Avatar, just BURN it

Happy for Bridges, great actor

Anyone but fecking Freeman for that one though

He had to be fecking stoned or drunk, I don't think I have ever heard someone use the word man more in a speech

God this one bitch is going to eat Oscar if she wins it

Yeah, but it's amazing for her to be where she is considering. I want to see Precious just because the acting and story look like they'd be good or at least intriguing. That all being said, she is HUGE.

God that movie was tacky

I don't get it

Blindside? I liked it, it wasn't film of the year material but it was a good story.

He actually had a fantastic first season in the NFL.

But I stand by the fact she's won this award based on the fact it's taken years for her to be recognized.

Barbara Streisand this keeps getting better....
