Don't agree with most of them, but that's how I see it going.

P.s. Thought Andrew Garfield would get a supporting actor nod. He was the best thing about TSN.

I always find it interesting when the Best Director and Best Picture awards go to different films, it is only logical that the best director is determined by who made the best film.

That's because, for the most part, it's all bollocks.

Like at music award shows when the "Best Band" and "Best Album" are won by different acts

Not really. Sometimes the script is far more important in the film being good than the director doing an amazingly good job.

Thought he deserved a nomination as well. He admittedly had an "easier" role than Eisenberg, but thought he did very well.

So I didn't figure this out but apparently all the nominations for Best Documentary Feature might actually sound like anal sex movies?

Exit Through the Gift Shop – Banksy and Jaimie D'Cruz
Gasland – Josh Fox and Trish Adlesic
Inside Job – Charles Ferguson and Audrey Marrs
Restrepo – Tim Hetherington and Sebastian Junger
Waste Land – Lucy Walker and Angus Aynsley

Maybe it's your brain that connects everything with anal sex ;)
