Olympiakos Piraeus v Manchester United - Official Match Thread

Simply stating that when the game is 2-0 it seems that the team who scores the third usually pulls it out. Olympiakos scored the third and now they sound like the better side. Sorry for any confusion.

There it is. :D

Scholes sure sounds like he is in awesome form at the moment. All of his shots were on target. He was rewarded finally. This reminds me of United of 99. We will just outscore you. Lets hope we can score more goals in the prem

i think they are out of it just based on their current score with milan...

Sounds like a decent game, I'm stuck with Milan - Bayern and these fecking italians play just like I remembered them doing. Diving assholes.

If things stand as they are, Group G will look like this with two games remaining...

1. AC Milan - 12
2. Deportivo - 6
3. Lens - 4
4. Bayern - 1

They're still statistically in it, but its highly unlikely.

he's in brazil because to sort out "personal problems". They should get hard with this inzagi, give him a yellow everytime he falls down

We're officially through... which allows us to rest our stars for the remaining two games. ;)

You never said you were listening to Man Utd radio!

Of course 'chuffed' is different, that was my point!

Anyway we won so stop starting trouble young lady!

The squads against Haifa on Tuesday should look something like this imo.

Ricardo
G. Nev
Wes
O'Shea
Silvestre
Chadwick
Keano
Veron
Richardson
Scholes
Diego

I really like Seba. There's just something about him - but let's keep him for Europe, and see him as a sub. more in the EPL.

the PL doesn;t suit his style, its as simple as that... he gets enough space in Europe to play his normal game.

he's been very impressive in Europe.. lets hope he continue's to play well there.

he seems 2 play gr8 in champions league, bt stil dusnt quite always fit in in premiership matches.
SAF shud keep him & blanc 4 european stuf IMO

wel dun scholesy tho, yet anutha thunderbolt!!! :D

Totally agree.

And as I said, I really like Seba. If he can continue to do it in Europe, he'll earn his keep. Playing the EPL isn't doing him any favours.

Spot on. Scary how someone can be so great in Europe and unchieve in the Prem. He thrives on space. Up-ing our game in Europe creates that space. Mebbe if more players got back to their work ethic in the Prem we'd see more from Seba.

The eejit on MUTV has made two references to the fact that Forlan was played up front tonight with OGS.

Eventually Arthur Albiston told him that Ole hadn't played at all.

How can the programme host who is presumably a supporter as well, make a mistake like that.

I like Verón too (but you all knew that), as I want us to win the CL, bugger the Prem, let what happens happen there. :)

<img src="graemlins/houllier.gif" border="0" alt="[Houllier]" /> Very nervous when it was 2-2. Nice finish from Scholes though. Their goalkeeper was the most feckless i've ever seen.

MoM: Veron
Worst: Forlan :(

Seba had a good game but it thought he was just edged tonight by Paul Scholes for MOM.
Scholesy's back & he scores goals you know! :D
