I think Gary just said in commentary that Solskjaer was going to have time to sort things out.

Carragher could barely respond coherently such was his surprise, "Sort out...what?!"

He should resign after this, doubt he would though for the obvious financial reasons. No excuses now for United not sacking him. If he's still here it will show just how little regard the club's heirarchy have for the club's reputation.
 
Not only Ole should be sacked but Carrick and McKenna as well, they been here for god knows how many years no matter who the manager is.
 
The title is already gone, but we aren't far off top 4.

We're somehow doing ok in the CL, we've been fecking shambolic in that too but somehow we have two wins, and we should get through the group. FA cup hasn't started yet.

The season could still be ok if we act tonight and sack him.
 
My guess is he won’t come out for the post match interview and he resigns by 8.
 
He’s not getting sacked and he won’t resign, both due to money reasons. But termination with mutual consent is possible, middle ground for both.
 
The players have stopped playing for him and actively want him sacked. It's clear as day.

No manager will ever resign in this day and age. Too much money involved.

Best bet Would be “Ole leaves by mutual consent”
 
Always back the manager, give him more time, the score line is a bit too flattering for pool, Utd actually passed it round quite well
 
If Ole survives this, then this club is hopeless, and I should stop caring about the results as the club itself doesn't fecking care.
 
If he is not sacked tonight, we are done for the season. Shite manager, definitely the worst we had since Moyes. All his supporters are not United supporters at this point.

I think Ole is different, this is humiliating. He will get a severance pay as a club legend but there’s no reason to prolong this. Jose had to be kicked out but this hurts Ole
 
If there isn't a Brendan Rodgers style announcement when Neville is in the studio, then the club has bottled it.

It requires no thought whatsoever, look at our form for an extended period of time and it's richly deserved.

I made a point on here a few days ago about how an embarrassing home defeat to Liverpool could be the straw that breaks the camels back as it did with Moyes and Mourinho’s tenure ending. Well here it is…..

I think it will be a “mutual consent” thing. Which is, the board sacked him, but in order to maintain his status as club legend and to allow the club to move forward, he will step down.

Hurting managers just want to turn things around.
 
I've always been Ole's biggest supporter. But some of his team choices and tactics are bizarre. I could use other words. And his man management which started with so much promise has deteriorated. Why bring on Dalot - why not DVB?? Is keeping the deficit at 5 more important than trying to claw some back? Is he afraid that DVB might show him up by doing something good?
