Score 49 league goals with Depay, Falcao, Di Maria, Rooney and Van Persie in your squad and finish fifth, better than Ole.
Take the reigning champions of England and have them miss out on Champions League football for the first time since 1995-96, better than Ole.

By all means want him gone, but feck me tone the hyperbolic bollocks down.
When was the last time United was with negative GD after 12 games? Yes he's worse than both of them, especially after spending half a billion to get there.

love how he still has to bring up his playing career. Has absolutely no bearing on his managerial career. At this point it is painfully obvious he only got the job because of playing for the club, and is only still here because of that.

Conte was available. The reality is the board desperately don't want to sack him because he's mates with everyone at the club, doesn't make too many demands and protects Woodward and the Glazers.

And they didn't want Conte because he would have eventually done what LVG and Jose did.....call them out for what they are. Charlatans running one of the biggest clubs in the whole world of sport.

He looks so clueless, it's unbelievable. Get out of the club now please

Ah man he just looks broken there. I mean, the shite he has been spouting for a while has been irritating and the whole 'they know they're better than that' about the booing thing. But ffs he's a human being, he is not a manager good enough for Utd. He should walk if those useless fecks in charge don't put him out of his misery. I agree with the poster who said this almost certainly comes down to money with the board. There is no way they can be that fecking stupid, on some spreadsheet somewhere this mad situation makes sense to the horrible cnuts.

We scored FOURTY NINE league goals in a season under Van Gaal. We signed Depay, Di Maria and Falcao, with Rooney and RVP already in the squad and scored FOURTY NINE league goals.

Mate we've conceded 21 in 12 games this season, and are in negative goal difference, having lost 5 of the last 7 with a team that has Ronaldo, Cavani, Bruno, Sancho, Pogba, Varane, DDG, Maguire, Shaw.. this guy is easily the worst manager

What's he had to say for himself in his post match interview? I suspect more of the usual clap trap

I really desperately hope he's finally sacked. Tonight.

Everyone saying Ole is selfish for not quitting...would you quit a job when you have a contract like his? Some of the talk around him is disgraceful here tbh. He's well out of his depth and needs to go but some of you should take a long look at yourselves, the way you're talking about him. He's a decent guy, genuinely cares for the club and has given us some unforgettable moments. Shameful, some of the reactions to him here. I can only believe most of the folks spewing vitriol weren't old enough to see '99 live.

He has to go, absolutely. Imo he never should have gotten the job in the first place. But I hate this online pile on.

Oh please. Every press conference ole has been using his legacy as a shield for terrible performances.

We can call him out on not resigning

Spurs fan in peace.

I know we have a reputation but I'm really disappointed to see some of the comments here and in the media regarding OGS. Fine if you don't believe he's good enough, I don't. But questioning his integrity, throwing personal abuse at him and talking about him like he's an idiot is beneath Manchester United. I know most fans are reasonable but theres a sizable minority on here who are out of order with their comments.

Unfortunately, its a trait of modern society that any old abusive nonsense can be thrown at a public figure gratuitously. It's sad.

Who then?

We need someone to be able to win titles not just be better than Ole which at this point won't be too hard.

Or this whole process starts again.

Get Rangnick simple. Or Favre. Or Zidane. Or move heaven and earth to get Ten Hag. There are hundreds of potential candidates that would do a better job than Ole right now. And who fecking cares if it doesn't work out right away? Then we sack the next one until we get it right. Like every other top club. Clinging onto people who simply aren't good enough is the downfall of this club.

There is a genuine conflict of interest there. It’s long past the point that him being in charge is what is best for the club. Look at the table, look at the stories in the press. It’s obvious.

He is thinking about Ole at the moment and that will obviously rub fans the wrong way. Hero or not as a manager, if he decides to put Ole first and stay on and continue to embarrass the club like today, then he has to face the consequences for that.

Lots of people are going to celebrate when he eventually goes. Come back to me in 2 years time when we will be in the exact same situation and everyone is calling for whatever manager who's in charge then to get sacked.

Once you put your anger away and man up to the fact that we are nothing but a stock exchange market club under this stinking regime then life will be easier for you.

Want change? Stop going to home games. Boycott the club completely. The alternative is to let the current owners keep on severely damaging the club.

Really it's in the hands of the fans but they keep playing right into the hands of the Glazers.

Do you want him gone yet?

Uses that second-half as a positive, called it. He's completely lost here and is in too deep to either see it or walk away

Bruno talking about away fans swearing at Ole. This didn’t happen to LVG or Jose, things are very bad.

I was in a space/room on twitter about 30 minutes ago, it's still live, 30K people there, one of the speakers insinuated getting Ole offed. as in flatlined. bodied. things are bad bad

they removed him from the room though

You are contradicting yourself here. If he is staying because he has huge contract then he doesn't care much for this club, isn't he?
And by that, he deserves to be treated the same how people treated previous 3 managers.

Guy is ruining our club ffs. He spent his "Club legend" excuse

It's a big problem I reckon. Fergie would have ripped the shit out of these players and turned red.

I don't disagree, but there's no point people getting annoyed with him for doing it, it's just him.

The interview was just sad, he had no idea what to say.

We could have had Conte. We literally could have had Conte. He was waiting for it. And this board snubbed him, because he is "hard to work with". We stuck with Solskjaer for what? Why? What has he done to deserve any kind of trust? Anything, at all!? I can't believe this. I don't even know what to say anymore. I can't even get angry.
Even now and even if we want to hedge our bets a hire a caretaker till the end of the season - if we approach Favre/Ragnick/Wenger/Blanc at least one of them would surely take it - and all of the would do significantly better than Ole (as all of them are like 5x better managers). And those are 4 managers off the top of my head. The are probably a dozen more gettable ones. Replacing Ole with a better manager is like replacing Tyler Blackett with a better defender.

Yeah, me having a memory of the single most boring football season I have ever witnessed means I'm Ole.

You cracked the code, bro.
Nah, surely Ole is one of the most entertaining managers around. I mean you rarely see a top club getting stuffed by 4-5 on regular basis by the likes of Leicester and Watford.

I feel bad for him. He’s basically in that zone where he just doesn’t know what to do. Tough.

No one puts a gun to your head and tells you stay in a job you don't know what to do. A job is bilateral. He's always free to resign. I can understand the reasons he might not, but that's also why I will never have an ounce of sympathy for him.

The second half was much better though. I'm in no way advocating him to stay, just weird that is your point of contention.

As boring as it was it was never as bad as this. This is the lowest we’ve sunk since Fergie retired, which is quite astounding considering it’s the best squad we’ve had since then as well.

I am so pissed off that I still have no idea of the other 3pm results (even the half-time scores) or how the 5.30pm game is going.

I promised myself some years back that I would no longer allow United results to dictate my mood but today’s shambolic showing has me losing interest in the sport full-stop, let alone watching United.

It’s a sad state of affairs and I never wanted it to end like this for Solskjaer but this is where we are.

Is he smiling again in the post match?
He apologised for smiling so he definitely knows what people say!

This is my last post today :( so, I’m gonna end it with this question:

Would any of you resign and give up millions of pounds? Really? Especially when he will never get a job like this again and his sacking is inevitable. Think about it.
