I've seen on Five's instagram page that David Orstein reported his job is safe and he'll be on the bench against Watford.

We decry the absence of loyalty in football but blind faith can, in its own way, be as corrosive as a hire and fire mentality and Old Trafford has become a cosy club, where there is plenty of backslapping but few who can see the wood for the trees. This is the Glazer legacy: dismal appointments and the death of ambition, where fourth is the new first and the promise of a brave new world never materialises

This is from the Ducker article and he's hit nail on the head

I'm interested by this contingency plan new fad, what exactly people think it should be?
Have an interim lined up that will make himself available at the drop of a hat. Like Chelsea had with Hiddink. As I’ve said elsewhere, I thought Ole had done more than enough to be given another season, but there were enough warning signs at the end of the last one to suggest things might not go as hoped.

Or just be capable of making decisions quickly, and doing so in a way that makes them relatively easy to reverse if you happen to get them wrong in the first place.

The writing is on the wall for Ole, just the wall extends far beyond the horizon. The decision maker is in the States having hookers rub down his sweaty body.

Focus your energy into something else for the time being.

I'm done watching United until he's gone, i'll pursue other hobbies in the mean time.

I believe the players are similarly waiting for news of him being sacked as much as us the fans. It’ll be a relief for everyone when it happens though not at the level of Jose’s toxicity departure

I believe this is the case, especially as this is a world cup year.

The longer the board keeps this up the more the damage is going to be not only to the club but also to the players chances of being picked for the world cup.

Maybe the club can afford to throw away this season but are the players willing to throw away their chances to make the world cup squad?

Executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward did not attend Saturday’s game and has been an infrequent visitor to Old Trafford in the build-up to his scheduled departure at the end of the year. Woodward was, however, in the directors’ box for United’s win last weekend away to Tottenham Hotspur.

So Ed does know a thing or two about football.

None of the journalists are getting any information from within the club and are now putting out opinion pieces. The Monday after the Liverpool debacle was evident of this.

Nah you're alright. Booing is pathetic.

Haha top red alert.

We are all entitled to express our frustration at the club, manager and players.

If you are saying that you will never boo regardless of what is happening on the pitch then don't complain when you witness sh*t performances week in week out.

Keep singing Ole's at the wheel - deep down you know he's not good enough but you want to come across as a better supporter.

Still no word from a club representative showing they support Ole?

He's as good as gone already. It's just a matter of time before it's made official.
Check out United's instagram. Along with Ole's picture, there was this patronising quote from the P-E Teacher.: "We understand everybody's frustrations, but the boys and the staff will do everything they can to get us back to what we were: a front foot, positive, attacking Man United."

He is not getting sacked. And if that's true, I will take a hiatus from football.

Its insanity of the highest level keeping him in the job now as the players clearly has lost all faith in him.

Sad Fletcher didnt want the interim job , think he could at least have steadid the ship .

The thought that the cnuts running our club think Ole can still scrape a fourth place finish with one of the most expensively-assembled squads in history explains a lot.

Distressing, worrying, depressing that he's still here. I think we're a game away from a star player openly confronting him on the touchline or something crazy and potentially transfer requests in January.

How far can we sink? Seriously, it's beyond a joke.

Looks like we're going to be limping to the end of the season.

I wish we could fast forward to May and just end this nightmare already.

It’s going unbearably bad already. 4 points out of 18 in the league and being bailed out by Ronaldo in the champions league. Anyone can see it but our board. That’s pretty crazy to be honest. He wouldn’t have survived in any club but here.
Ronaldo is wishing to have signed for City.
It is and if we had standards like the real top top clubs (Real), Ole would have already been sacked 5 times. But since we don't and our standards have completely fallen off the cliff in the last few years, we seem to be okay with it.

Nah you're alright. Booing is pathetic.
I’ll boo this shitshow for as long as it deserves to be booed. Pathetic in this situation are only the top red badge holders who are happy to accept the joke that this club has become from top to bottom.

Just read the Ornstein article in The Athletic.

Basically he's safe until UCL qualification for next season is mathematically impossible.

Which, although I think he should be sacked now, is fair enough I suppose as that was the criteria for sacking Moyes and Van Gaal.

If he completely loses the dressing room like Mourinho, then ofcourse the situation will change.

My reading is that the board will probably take the international break to think of a contingency plan (a caretaker and summer plan)

Then if Ole loses 2 of Watford/Villarreal/Chelsea he’ll be gone

I feel like I’m losing my mind here. Checking Twitter every now and then to see surely some announcement but at the same time I’m also thinking there’s no chance it even happens for another month or two. This is insane.
Yup
At this point I'm wondering if Howe or Conte will get sacked before Ole does.

Don't know how true that is but a rational board will make the change BEFORE it becomes mathematically impossible.

Breaking news from Sky..
No plans to change the manager.
Will be next to Donny against Watford...

It's unbelievably hard to lose two of those games.

Managing United is way too easy. 1 win saves you for weeks and you need an impossible amount of losses to lose your job.

Top Reds sit in silence ey
You know feck all about me to throw the "top red" shite about. I go to watch football a massively varying levels every week and frankly regardless of what you're stood watching, booing is pathetic. Shout whatever you want at players or the manager, I don't give a feck, make as much noise as you like, make your opinion heard etc. The actual act of standing there going "boooooooooooo" is fecking pathetic and the sort of shite I'd expect from a 3 year old.

Odds on 4-6 to be the next premier league manager sacked but it's not hardening and he's probably got until midday tomorrow to escape the sacking once again.

Still in touch with 4th place and in the champions league could still save him - I would prefer he goes now but it obviously depends on a suitable replacement.

He's a dead man walking and 4th place with no trophies won't save him this year

I’m actually starting to worry we’ll keep him until the end of the season.
