I think he’s still in the job for many weeks to come. Those saying there’s too much “smoke” are a little desperate, doesn’t seem to be much smoke at all to me. Vague links here and there is all, as you’d expect after yesterday and these past few weeks.

I will support Tottenham on Saturday if he is still in the job.

His comments after yesterdays match ("I have come so far......") showed that he only cares about himself and i can not support this shit anymore!!!

And i can't support the players too if they don't have the balls to go to the board and bring him down!!!
Personally, i think you should do yourself and the rest of us a favour and stick with spurs from here on in.

Of course they've left it late, Woodward probably genuinely believed that Ole was going to 'transform' the club and felt no need to to do what every big club does - proactively communicate with managers.

Nevertheless, I still hope they don't just appoint the first person they contact and offer a job to (Conte presumably).

This is the part that's the most frustrating. How do you not even plan for the contingency that Ole would be a flop this season?

I think every top club would have some sort of succession plan in case things go south with their current manager.

Hey, jokes aside. I like him. He focuses on possession based with quick transition, high pressing and high energetic game . I would have preferred him last year but not now with big personalities in the squad.
Said it yesterday and I'll say it again. The next manager shouldn't get a chant until he achieves something.

"Ole's at the Wheel" will be used to mock us for fecking years.

And the Chosen One banner too.

Rightly so. We laughed at Liverpool for giving someone like Hodgson the job.

We gave Ole a job for 3 years. Deserve to be laughed at for that nonsense.
We replaced SAF with Moyes. We broke the world record on Maguire. We let Pogba and his agent walk all over us. If you don't start laughing along, you'll end up at an institution.

Not only a big engagement?

What does this mean, sometimes I feel so dumb when I read tweets.

Bad translation, basically I take this to mean Conte wants a long contract and assurances that he will be backed in the market.

The sad thing is Hodgson is twice the coach Ole is, and yet Liverpool fans didn't take so long to come to the conclusion he wasn't the guy. Granted he wasn't one of their own.
To be fair, Moyes was our Hodgson.

Ole is our Souness.

Being one of your own should never be a reason to give or keep someone in a job

The thought that it is is nonsense

As Utd are listed in the New York Stock exchange, does that mean Utd would have to announce any removal of Ole to the stock exchange first therefore wait until it opens (NY time) if they were to sack Ole tomorrow for example?

As said a million times, no.

Why would the stock exchange have to be open for a company to hire and fire its staff? It's internal matters. Besides if anything it'll up the shares briefly when it's announced.

Liverpool winning like that did us a massive favor here.
I said before the game I'd take an absolute thrashing from Liverpool if it meant Ole getting the boot.
Thanks Klopp.

BTW I hate saying this as a Man United fan but I'm getting sick of the tumescent football were playing under this guy.

The players have clearly done a mass brief to their journalist friends via their agents etc about the squad losing faith in Ole.

Also timed with the club refusing to give any assurances any more about his future, which they've been very quick to do before now.

Put 1 and 1 together you probably get 2.

I don't think anything will be confirmed until after the City game. Do you think conte or any new manager wants to come straight in to our next few fixtures. Plus international break gives time for manager and get his staff lined up.

BBC article above also said the same, so actually it seems a brief from inside the club not the players.

BBC Sport understands an increasing number of players are starting to lose faith in Solskjaer. They don't trust his tactics and feel he is out of his depth compared to managers at the bigger clubs, namely Pep Guardiola, Jurgen Klopp and Thomas Tuchel.

The fact that we haven't come out with a statement backing Ole shows it's curtains. Hope we get Conte or a proper manager in asap. Don't agree with Fletcher or anyone else as interim managers.

Would only take some form of interim IF it meant we could get Ten Haag, however we all know how kneejerk this board can get when a caretaker starts stringing a load of results together so have genuine concerns it could happen again

I’ve been Ole unsure since Leipzig away happened, but given that he got us to 2nd last season I believed it was right that he had the chance to prove it wasn’t a fluke. 9 PL games and 2 and a bit months in and his position is untenable now. He must go. There is no coming back from this.
Agree, especially with the Liepzig analgy. Has to go now.

The only favour Liverpool did us was not spank us 7-8 nil, I think you better be prepared for the worst as I don’t think he’s going anywhere soon!

I just hope that this time we actually go through a proper process of talking to several candidates and vetting them before appointing someone. I don't want us just interviewing Conte, agreeing to his demands and then rushing to offer him the job. Its what we should have done after we sacked Mourinho instead of just giving it to Ole and making him the permanent manager after winning a few games.

Now this is a very valid point indeed

If this did happen and isn't taken out of context in any way then it is shocking in so many ways
I think its taken out of context. I don't think he mocks Solskjaer here. Have seen a longer video of this sequence and I think he is just totally pissed with our defense for being all over the place and in headless chicken mode.

I don't think the Ole half of that clip is from yesterday.

But clearly the Ronaldo one is and there's no doubt about who he's mocking. I'm guessing Ole was doing the exact same gesticulating we see him doing in the clip, there's just no footage of it.
