They took 0 responsibilities, that's hiding. They just moaned about structure, transfers.
All our managers post SAF are hiding, don't try to prove Ole is not. All of them hide behind mysterious 3 year rebuilding masterplans (or in Moyes case 6 years...) and act like being dogshite in the first 2 or so years is normal and everything is going according to plan. It's not and everybody knows it including them. Nobody will admit they are doing a shit job and are looking for excuses. Ole's latest interviews are ridiculous. From being excited that City played their strongest team against us as it proves we "are moving places" to being happy with 5th even though we are closer to 14th. Shocking.

Ofcourse Ole is hiding behind rebuild but he took responsibility for transfers and structure. How many took that at ManUtd? Everyone just moaned about how they were not backed and how bit having football people at board level somehow made them shit at coaching.

There's a couple of really, really odd things about this quote from Solskjaer...

The first is that he's literally criticizing Mourinho and LvG for criticizing the system that Utd has had in place for the last 6 / 7 years - even if we ignore the fact that said system is clearly, and blatantly so disgracefully flawed and proven totally ineffective in the modern PL era, we can't ignore that Solskjaer, while defending that system, is simultaneously constantly claiming that the state of the club requires a 'big rebuild'...

So... the system is fine... yet, Ole needs multiple transfer windows to rebuild the squad that's in a shambles because of said system... erm, ok. That is just laughable.

Journalists need to pick him up on this stuff!

The second problem with these quotes from him is that he's criticizing the only two managers who've brought Man Utd silverware since SAF. And in saying things like 'some of us think we're better than others' suggests that he believes that he's equal as a manager to them... and so, if they've won silverware while operating in a system that they believed utterly broken - then Ole should certainly be able to do the same given that he's a fan of that system and is supposedly their managerial equal.

It's reached the point of parody in my opinion, you have to laugh.

Books will be written about the Woodward era at Utd.

So they moaned about the crux of all our problems?

Mate, you honestly can't make up the level of mental gymnastics on display here can you?

LVG and Jose complained and moaned about the very things that the Ole In crowd are claiming are the problem at this club (rather than Ole).

"The board are the problem, they haven't backed Ole" - Jose threw the board under the bus.

"The players are shit" - Jose threw the players under the bus (he could've been more subtle yes).

"The club is run like a business not a football club" - exactly what LVG called them out for.

The Ole In crowd are getting increasingly desperate. Ole's comments above are brilliant, he's rolling out the excuses for the fecking board again by calling out previous managers for how they slated them. Claiming the structure in place is fine.

Woodward has wasted money on Neil Ashton. He already has his fecking PR Sockpuppet in place and has had that since Ole became permanent manager.

I personally think putting some pressure on the board to do something is not a bad thing. Of course don't do it every time you speak to the camera like Jose did but also not how Ole does when he tries to spin positives out of everything and sometimes put rose-tinted glasses on speaking absolute nonsense. We need to have a manager who knows when and how to do it. So as much as I hated seeing Jose being always miserable and moaning about everything, I hate seeing someone like Ole who will never say a negative word about anything and tries to spin positives out of everything. We lost against Burnley? Lads gave it all. We hopelessly lost against City? We won a second half. Don't even know which one I prefer anymore.

What if people believe our players are good, ole is shit, LVG and Jose were cowards hiding behind excuses on transfers, structure and Ole hides behind Rebuild excuse?

It's possible isn't it?

So yeah one more typical shit post.

Yeah but there is putting pressure and taking 0 responsibilities. Van Gaal and Jose are in latter category. .

Ofcourse I'm fed up of Ole interviews and it's getting worse every week but that's different topic. Some of the quotes make Moyes look like SAF.

I give up at times to be honest. They keep going on about the time SAF was given. Yes he was, but the competition was Liverpool, they dominated just about everything. Now there are a number of clubs who are challenging us to just get in European places, nevermind winning the league. Time is not available now. Also SAF had Bryan Robson at the club. We do not have anybody of that character. Some say Scott is the ones. He could not lace Robbo's boots. SAF then built a side with character, Ole says he wants to do that, but all I am seeing is us being linked to very young players. Those players were like bulldogs, the English players being linked now are chihuahuas compared to them.

Was listening to Talksport and they basically said a club of Manchester United prestige should not be playing counter attacking football. That is the sort of football a newly promoted or lower league club play against the big boys.
Exactly. Same as 4231. Why do we need 2 holding players when we are at home to Burnley, Norwich, Brighton etc?

Fergie also proved, like Klopp, that he could build a team to compete with the best. He broke the old firm monopoly and he beat Madrid in the cup winners cup. Ole got Cardiff relegated.

If 4231 is cowards football as we will have 2 "holding midfielders", what will 4-3-3 be called as it will be the same midfielders + 1 more CM instead of AM

Formation means nothing, it's how the team is set up to play and ours is shit. Nothing to do with formation.

Yep. SAF had a proven track record in the league that was of a lot higher standard than it is now, that was why English clubs brought lots of players down from Scotland. He also had a proven record of being ruthless. His press conferences were always tetchy, winning was everything and anything less he was not happy about and made sure everybody knew about it.

Tactics we’re not SAF’s strongest point hence the tactically minded assistants but boy if you put in one shift like these guys today let alone 25 games, you wouldn’t dare walk back into then changing room. Ole has no authority over them you can see it.

Ask for press and after match interviews, he deliberately went after opposition managers, refs, deflected poor performances and never ever smiled. It was good enough for SAF but not for ole. He just chunders utter nonsense. No thought behind the interviews like SAF.

I don't know. It's a weird quote in general, well that final line is anyway. But a lot of his soundbites are becoming odd to be honest. He's definitely feeling the pressure, regardless of how safe he and the board claim he is; Moyes kept rabbiting on about a 6yr deal, remember. The second it was official he couldnt get 4th, he was a goner. I don't think Ole will be fired for not getting 4th to be fair, if he finishes 5th I think he'll still be in a job. But we're on course to finish closer to 10th and that will see him gone.

SAF like you say was calculated. The only time he smiled was when lifting a trophy.

Because he's spineless. He will be thrown under the bus soon and I wonder what we'll make of these comments then.

He failed just like other ex managers as simple as that. Only difference would be one took responsibility for transfers, on pitch performance and others were hiding behind transfers, structure excuses.

Not saying Ole doesn't make excuses, he does and that's always on how the team is for the future.

It's amazing how crap our managers are, none of them went on to achieve anything. Moyes was sacked even at small clubs, Van Gaal retired, Jose was overlooked by all big clubs and Ole won't get offers from any PL and championship clubs

Where did he say the squad is in a shambles because of the system? You just made that up.

I'd hardly say he's taking responsibility. The guy has been playing the patience card and the 'look at Liverpool!' etc. cards for a while now. He's trying to deflect his failures but trying to sell the future to us, even though most would argue the reason the current is so shit is cause of him.

That quote is him simply just saying he agrees with the system in place, which in my honest opinion isn't a good thing. The direction and system we have in place is shite, it's why we've spent a feck ton of money and are still shit, almost 10 years later.
For feck sake. So nothing wrong with the structure. Last 8 years of misfortune was a blip, we were just unlucky?
He is not. He is defending our broken structure. A yes man for the board. A yes man for Woodward in fear of getting the sack

Are you deliberately ignoring the fact that 'structure' has changed? Like it or not, the previous managers had control of signings and the poor recruitment was down them, not Woodward and not the Glazers. Since Ole has come it has changed, and a transfer committee is in place, where any of the committee (including manger, & head scout ect) can veto a transfer.

Also note how Ole say "put in place" showing there has been in change. But I guess this doesn't suit your narrative...

Yeah there are changes that are done going by few interviews and briefing by club but Ole said it's always managers call in the end. If manager don't want any player they won't be signed.

I agree with you. Ultimately, they all failed. My biggest issue is that we're led by complete incompetence - Glazers and Ed. I won't say our managers weren't backed because clearly they were - our managers failed but so has everyone else. However, I would rather they come out and just speak the truth rather than hiding behind lies which is what Ole is clearly fecking doing. You don't have to be toxic like Jose but he easily come out and say "well we're suffering from injuries, so hopefully we can add some players for rotation" or whatever. Instead, we're hearing lies about a solid structure which is so far from the truth.

Calling out your boss in public is usually a bad idea, who knows what’s going on in private.

Well we can all agree being the manager of this club is vastly different from any other managerial position. You're allowed to fail. Poch called out Levy. Even Pep has come out and said things like "we cannot afford to buy players".

Ole has already said we are stretched and let's see if club can sign one or two players

Not exact word by word, it's something like that and it was said few days back.

Yeah we are one of the most poorly run clubs in Europe going by the money spent on transfers, wages and the quality of the squad. Every manager we hired, Woodward are the big contributors for this shit.

Here is the quote
Ahead of this weekend's meeting with Tranmere, Solskjaer delivered an update on the club's transfer plans, telling a press conference: "It is stretched but we’re getting players back after the break, so we will be better off for it.

"We’re still working on one or two things so let’s see if the club get it over the line."

That’s hardly calling out his bosses from Pep thats just being a prick after what he’s already spent there.

Now more that ever it's clear what Ole's role is in this drama, he is the one that keeps the fans at bay, the Glazers' bullshit merchant. He is so desperate to stay in the job that he is willing to grovel to the Glazers' and Woodward to show them how useful he can be. The sad thing is we have fans who are buying this.

You are right in that if the structure is so perfect then he shouldn't need a rebuild, he should never have sold Lukaku et al because they were results from that perfect system. He knows that he has done a poor job and is now leveraging his status with the gullible fans to buy himself time with the parasites.

Ole has no tactical knowledge? Hmmmm

US, one could easily argue that these posts are claptrap. The comment of a person who knows there are a lot of clueless football fans on twitter or whatever and so he throws something tactical in which makes half sense and of course some people think... yeah...

But even simplifying the comment, Brandon Williams is right footed, did ole just find that out? Is this the first time we’ve seen Brandon do this during matches?

So in effect this is ole’s doing in the first place? Could that be argued regardless of going too deep into the tactical conversation?

Is the fella making easy money with these tweets? Money for old rope.....

What changes are they when Woodward just cobbled up a bunch of his appointees and instituted a rubber stamping transfer committee full of yes man. If you look at the supposed brilliant football people, they are leftovers from the failed regimes of Moyes and Van Gaal who have been given glorious sound Scouting titles to make them look sophisticated.

Last summer we again overpaid for mediocre talent that a new manager could possibly want gone after a few months due to their limitations. We are still conceding comical goals but we have spent £130m on the so call defensive upgrades leaving ourselves ridiculously short in midfield and forward areas. Nothing has changed, Woodward is now just hiding behind his army of puppets.
