Will go down as the worst United manager in history. Worse than Moyes. I don't care that he scored a goal for the club when I was 9 years old. The nepotism is unreal.

He's only been here for less than six months ffs. He took over a struggling team, and managed to make something out it at first.

Moyes took over the champions and totally fecked things up. I'd say Moyes is comfortably worse.

It is just getting worse and worse. Not sure he is good enough to motivate and improve the players we got. Fitness might help us and more quality too, but the football we play is poor and the confidence is low.

They aren't playing for him! The players have buried 4 managers pal... at what point do you blame the players ffs?

You do realise most of these players are going to be here next season? We not selling 16 first teamers and replacing them with 16. So whose job is it to motivate them?

Again moron, Pep won stuff at Bayern and Barca. What’s Ole done and don’t say Molde. That’s worse than league 1. Steve McClaren has a Dutch league and you wouldn’t want him back. Stop comparing him to Pep or Klopp.

Mourinho finished 6th first season and got time. Every manager here has been given time and maybe we need to start being ruthless like the big clubs with that time.
Plus Brendan turned Leicester around almost immediately with the same group of players.

FFS, if you would have told me a couple months ago all we needed to do to make top 4 was beat Huddersfield and Cardiff City...:(

Mate no one is asking for a quick fix or us go be instant title challengers. We were unable to beat two teams that got relegated, with one defeating us 0-2 at home.
OK, let's forget that, what style of play is Ole trying to implement? There's no plan whatsoever. Not to mention he keeps picking absolute shite like Ashley Young despite him costing us multiple matches. I'm failing to see even a silver lining here

How do you expect him to roll out plans with players not trying?

Again, its nothing short of a disgrace blaming yet ANOTHER manager.

I refuse to believe we are that incompetent that we don't have a top 4 exit clause with Ole. There is no other reason why we would give him the permanent job when we did.
Didn't we just announce Phelan on a long-term deal yesterday?

I mean now, sure. But assuming he's here next season, no. Ole looks even more lost than Moyes did on his worst day.

Sacked in the morning hopefully. Wont happen with Woody, no balls. Wait til Christmas and another season is gone and we start again
We’ve literally just given Mike Phelan a 3 year deal as assistant.

Ole is going nowhere (until Christmas)

This is why we should never hire a club legend. I have no idea why we would announce a new manager in the middle of the season.

Well that’s not going to happen is it. Half or most this squad is going to be here next season so Oles job was to motivate them and he’s not doing that good enough.

Your an embarrassment pal.

He’ll be sacked with us sitting in the bottom half of the table next season.

I think it would be very harsh. The board have no clue what they’re doing, but they aren’t going to admit that publicly.

Probably not as they’ve already made themselves to look like a bunch of morons in recent seasons. They’ll likely keep him and give him money to spend and hope that it’ll least gets us top 4 basically a rinse and repeat motion we’ve gone through these last few years but I can say now no matter who we sign we won’t get top 6 never mind top 4.

They’ll stick with Ole but I’d like to see Ole man up, swallow his pride and admit he lacks the capabilities to get united on the up and resign himself.

3 previous managers since Sir Alex retired and now Ole struggling. It's deeper than simply blaming Ole.

Anyone thinking preseason is going to change anything is absolutely deluded I'm afraid.

It's his job to motivate the players and make sure they try. If he can't make them, they means he's lost the dressing room and there's no use of keeping him here. We can't buy 24 new players, no team can. And if these players aren't trying, why does he keep picking the same group of players over and over, again Ashley Fecking young being a prime example

If ole couldnt fashion A TEAM of any sort , to beat Cardiff at OT that shows his ineptitude and he needs to do the decent thing and walk, before hes pushed, bloody hell, even an open cheque book wouldnt help, he is out of his depth, no top manager would win just 2 points out of ?? What is it 25,!!! Just think on that

If something happens like they pull a trigger on him, regardless of opinions of that move being crazy or not. He made some decisions leading to this point, there is no hiding from it.

Also have a question, is it just me because i am fuming at the moment and my memory went to shit but since SAF retired, fans spent a lot of time singing songs about managers, everyone single one had one, dont remember fans signing about SAF for 20 min without a break. Seems the more they sing about manager, the worse it gets.

The players downed tools. Also I think because of treatment of Herrera. Their mentality is gone.

I don't many are mate. But having the wrong manager only ends in one way. If he's wrong choice and brings in the wrong players then it sets us back for the next manager

Not a single one of these are his players, nor has he been able to get rid of anyone bar Fellaini.
The results have been terrible, but is it any different from Moyes, Van Gaal or Jose?
All of them had atleast 2 windows to bring in and get rid of players

He motivated them at first didn't he? These players are fecking rotten.

Of course it is but that doesn't excuse Ole and i don't know why people keeping writing posts as if it does.

We need a clear out of playing staff but putting that responsibility into the hands of someone who has had us in close to relegation form is just reckless. No guarantees but you don't bet on top of failure so find someone else.

There are some very worrying signs.
The constant selection of Ashley Young.
Worst passer Ashley Young being on corner duty.

But what's worrying is a total lack of system or style.

One week there is no one on the right wing. This week we started with no one on the left. Lingard being played as a false striker in some games.
It's just mix and match and nothing going on. Can't be easy for players having no set system.

They should have a level of motivation as is, they are playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world, but they need Ole to psych them up still?

I'm not surprised we are as bad as we are with a fan base as soft as this.

Of course he's lost the feckin dressing room, he's told some of them they have no future here, that's the point!

Your an embarrassment pal.

What? So you got no response to that and I’m not your pal, you need to get out your house to make one of those.

You can’t even make any valid points without resorting to name calling. So do you think we going to ship off 16 players next season and replace them with 16? Most these players will be here next year and it’s Oles job to motivate them. Can you tell me what type of football Ole wants us to play? You right Pep wasn’t great in his first season but he had a style he wanted to play and towards the back end of the season they got better.

3 previous managers since Sir Alex retired and now Ole struggling. It's deeper than simply blaming Ole.

He’s more than struggling, he’s lost 2-0 against a relegated side, at home, without scoring a single goal. That’s behond struggling, he’s out of his depth no matter how poor some of these players are. Our problems overall start and end with Ed Woodward, he should be ashamed of himself for not waiting until the end of the season.

We have many problems at this club.

But for me the most important thing is that Ole is not the answer to any of them. I'll always love him but this is Wilf McGuiness all over again.. I honestly won't be shocked if we are lower than 8th next season when he leaves.

This is a new low though. And Ole is a big part of the problem. Giving him the job so early was another major feck up from our board.

The ones that do have a future are the ones that chronically let us down.

The one's that don't have a future likely didn't even play today.
