I just think we’re falling into the same trap again. It’s not the manager, it’s the players. No manager would get this shower of shit playing well.

We can replace Ole with Conte, but you can’t turn Phil Jones into Nesta.

Well where did I say the players are good enough. But we shouldn’t be losing to Cardiff or drawing to Huddersfield.

I’m just not seeing anything tactically from Ole that stands out unless you seen something. I saw it with Pep and Klopp. Even Potch tried to bring high pressing in his first season at Spurs. All these were more proven than Ole.

I’m not a big fan of giving him a lot of money so he can blow his load on more average British players to be alongside his favourites Smalling, Jones, Young, Rashford and Lingard.

Tell me what he brings tactically. We don’t need fitness to beat Cardiff or Huddersfield.

Admit the mistake and sack him, not a popular choice but i would see if simeone fancys a new challenge, i dont care about boring football, (i think that is exaggerated a little anyway ive always quite enjoyed athletico games), we need a few seasons of stability and results, bottom line.

Absolutely fecking disgusting, feck all the "he knows the club" bullshit, there's no room for sentimentalities when we are on a relegation form.

I'm seriously worried about this now.
He couldn't even motivate then for this game.

That is a serious concern

He puts it on himself by trusting in shit players.

If Ed sacks him tonight, what happens with Phelan? Does Phelan get a payout and go as well just 24 hours after being announced?

Many assistant managers remain after the manager is sacked. Id like to see Phelan becoming our version of Giuseppe Baresi who assisted various managers during his long tenure at Inter.

How easy would it be to move Ole upstairs into the Sporting Director role ? If we want to move forward we need to pay what’s needed for Pocchettino and let Pocchettino and Ole do their thing with ZERO interference in football matters from Woodward.

I know it’s the players, the core of the club needs changing but why the feck they gave him the contract so early is beyond me...Woodward fecked up yet again.

Ole is going to be worse than Moyes and as bad as Neville at Valencia. You don't need 10 months to see that, fitness or whatever other excuse people are coming up with.

For god sake. How many people are going to slate Ole without giving him his due shot...

There is so much division on the boards right now, but there are many threads that are talking up the fact that our club is toxic the players are downing tools again. That we need to clear the deadwood and sort out the team over a period of time, and that at least with Ole, as a club legend, he would have so much goodwill with the fans. For god sake, let's extend that goodwill to at least one transfer window before we chuck him in the bin with all the others.

There are many threads on this. How about waiting two months and see how many players we have moved on and what sort of players are coming in? How about reviewing the pre-season and seeing how the team functions when he has time to coach new things into the team and has all HIS players available.

I fully believe that the fast press we did for 10 or so games caught up with our players. At the same time we had a number of players who were intent on leaving, a number intent on walking around the pitch and the injuries caught up with everyone. There are no doubt some toxic elements in the dressing room, and lets face it a lot of the toxicity could be expected - everyone in there feels underpaid when they look across and see Sanchez milking the club dry for no return. There are many things that the club must help Ole with - he can't do it alone.

Give him a chance to be judged on his merits, no the shitshow he inherited.

His merits are being judged though. We're not that bad that we should be losing 2-0 at home to a relegated team. We also definitely won't be getting rid of all these apparent problem players in one window. You can remain optimistic.

Like poch is gonna leave Tottenham for this s**tshow

Aye it’s easy for us to admit. Well it’s not.. but you know what I mean. Imagine the scrutiny for Woodward and the absolute shit storm Neville and co will kick up, not to mention a payout for Ole. It would be completely embarrassing for Woodward and that’s the reason why he won’t be big enough to admit this major, major feck up.

For such reason I'm sure he won't be gone before Christmas after us wasting another full season in 6th and shite.

The football he got Molde playing, basically. That’s pretty much it. It’s a leap of faith, but isn’t every appointment? Jose was supposed to be a sure thing.

What I do know though is that the players are terrible, but I have faith in what he did with Molde, and that if given enough time he can get us playing the same way. He can’t do it in just a few weeks though. Even if we got Poch it would be the same. We need to be patient basically.

What are the chances we stumble through until December next season while it's obvious he's not good enough, before getting rid and repeating the whole cycle again?

if the man loves united as he says then he needs to grow a pair and walk away and admit he’s way out of his depth. Let a proper manager come in and do the job.

It’s not even a surprise either, there was only a few of us that weren’t living in a deluded dreamland when he was appointed but we could see this exact scenario happening. That what happens when you appoint somebody whose only managerial achievements of note are relegating a team from the league.

100% We will not get top 6 next season. No matter who we buy.

Sadly not good enough to be a Manchester United manager. Clearly has no idea how to motivate these players anymore and no tactical scheme that works. Tinkers too much and does too little with it.

He won't get the sack yet? He will get a summer transfer , he will get to January then we see if the players he gets are good enough, it's going to be a struggle to finish in top 6 next season.

And pogba has to go no matter what, he's a virus that needs shifting.

Young, Jones, Smalling and Lingard will still be starters next season again. He will get us relegated

You're right to imply there's a schism and Ole needs time but what are we basing the desire to give him that time on? It's a complete balls up. He's really unproven at this level and it's beginning to show.

Like I said I'd first get rid of the deadwood, then start pointing the finger at the manager.

Norwegian league is worse than League 1.

Well Potch has experience and not in some crappy league.

What football at Molde? I didn’t watch Molde but you seem a expert in that league so maybe you could tell me how they played. I’ve seen nothing in the last few months tactically to say Ole is the man to lead us forward.

Are we going to really trust Ole with a massive transfer window for us??

I reckon we won’t do anything as they’ll look stupid as they gave him the permanent job & we’ll have another season of mediocrity as our rivals pull further ahead

Pub team level manger. He is that bad. The only reason he is getting defended on here is because he is a United legend. Get him the feck out of the club NOW! Another wasted season on the way.

Like I said I'd first get rid of the deadwood, then start pointing the finger at the manager.

Again, do people think we are going to have a completely different squad next season? A lot of the players we have now will still be there. Ole was winning with them back in February - any decent manager is better than this, even if we're not good enough to compete for the title.

1) If he was praised( and got the job) for purple patch, why he is not guilty for worst run of results in history?
2) Why some of you think that he can fix this after one transfer window and pre season? Based on what?

I can see there’s no changing your mind. Let me get this straight, you would sack him tonight?

I'd rather have someone like Emery, at least he has experience at the top level.

Giving him the job so early might be one of the worst decisions this board have made. And that says quite something.

Finished the season so badly that he’s starting next season under pressure.

Yes as I don’t see any plan from him like Moyes. LVG had a plan but it didn’t work for two seasons. Mourinho had a plan to be defensive and it didn’t work. This is Moyes level type football.
