We should sack him and give it all to sign the Ajax manager or Nuno Santo.
Mourinho put us in this situation. He bought these players, he had 3 years to get it right. He left a mess
I can't defend our terrible form, but our season went down the drain as early as when we lost to Arsenal, or drew to Chelsea. In fact there are probably many points you could highlight and say, that's where our season ended. Today sucks but it had been coming, and we shouldn't blame the one guy who gave us the chance in the first place.
He definitely didn't. This actually really wound me up, as he quoted 2 teams that have DOFs buying the players. The transfers should not be down to Ole, just the profile. This is literally the set up of the two clubs quoted.Jamie Redknapp sees it. Shame not many others do.
To me, nothign really changes. Once again I am surprised at the sheer amount of people having a go at him for daring to raise the bar and giving us the chance to dream. He shoudln't have done PSG like that... otherwise we wouldn't have gotten embarrased by Barca (same way they did the mighty liverpool). He shouldn't have gone on that run and given us some hope at top 4, only to falter on the last day and have so many people turn on him and question his credentials. So now we have the reverse of the famous dynamic and Ole takes credit for the victories and the players take the blame for the loses!
OK mate, we'll all take your advice and shut up. Thanks.Anyone against Ole at this point in time should simply stop supporting the club now.
I can't keep count of the times I've said this, but here I go again: no one in the world would've done any better with this garbage squad. We haven't bought a decent RM/RW in the last 8 years. We've been lacking in the RB and CB areas for about the same time. What do you expect? Ole is no magician. Just shut up and give the man time.
I think we should've stuck to the original plan and waited until the end of the season before giving Ole the contract. The moment he got that contract the players stopped playing for him and downed tools once they realised they've done enough to win him the contract.
We appointed him far too early as we were caught up in the hype and giddiness of Paris.
But as they say, hindsight is a wonderful thing.
He won't know unless Phelen tells him.Am I right in reading Ole himself doesn't know what style we might implement for next season ?
The players were definitely praised when we played well.So now we have the reverse of the famous dynamic and Ole takes credit for the victories and the players take the blame for the loses!
Agree, not the point being made though. You could argue Moyes and LVG put us in the position when he said it.

He said it after signing a whole new team of players for a vast fortune of money and making them play worse than Ole has this season. So no, its all him + Woodward
Been saying it since Van Gaal came in and he said the same things...At this point, it is quite obvious

Look for me i'm still going to give him at least one year, two real transfer windows with his own clear strategy. Of course, if we drop to midtable or lower by Christmas he will most likely walk, but he still deserves a chance imo. Whats the worse he can do, a worser summer window than our last 3 managers?
Where did you see that?Am I right in reading Ole himself doesn't know what style we might implement for next season ?

What?He should be ashamed of himself excepting such great responsibility while knowing full well he doesn't possess anything like the qualities required to take them on.
He is keeping it real in the interviews. I feel like he can't really win here, either he sounds startled, or he starts sounding delusional. Or he starts throwing players or board under the bus. He chose the most neutral response, which is accepting reality for what it is, mathematically we are now a europa club next season. It's time to look forward not play defiant mind games with the press or fans.My point of view is that Ole looks well out of his depth. He lacks the tactical know how and simply the gravitas to be the manager of United. The nice guy persona soon lost its appeal and he now cuts a Moyes like figure in his interviews - startled, a deer in the headlights.
What does he see?
What?
It’s just a still picture. Nothing more.
I got full Moyes vibe from him when the camera showed him like that during the game.
Felt like Moyes was the one managing us or something from that look.
The look of someone who doesn't have a clue what to do to make the team win in the game.
The minute is clear if anyone wanted to watch this full scene on any full matches site.

I don't think anyone is saying what you imply in your first point. Most of us see it as a dead cat bounce after Mourinho got launched. Chelsea had a similar one when they got rid of Mou after he left in similar circumstances.

I think if we can get someone like Poch in the summer then sentiment needs to go out of the window.
Sure. You seem a nice one.Sorry. He's an incompetent clown as a manager. That any clearer?
Nothing wrong with having concerns though. The squad is poor, but do you think Ole is the man to fix this? I’m not convinced he can. When it comes to buying the calibre of player we need, will they want to come play under Ole? We’re in for a rough summer imo, signings will be underwhelming.
People give this 'new manager bounce' far to much credit. You cannot perform the way our players did for the first couple of months of Ole's reign unless you possess the ability to do so in the first place.
Sure. You seem a nice one.
I am happy that the shit opinions here dont reflect the majority of the United fans.
By now, everyone should understand that the problem runs deeper than the manager. Its way up to the top, the manager, staff and players. Major rebuild is key.
Getting rid of OGS is the solution? Really?
We might have shit years to come, but now is certainly not the time to change manager again. None of us knows if Ole can be the right fit for the changes who has to come. He might be or he might not be.
The problem for me with people waiting to sack him now is because its so damn gullible. Have you guys ever build something? You fail, you succeed, you make adjustment, you go again. It takes time!
Saw a tweet quoting Ole saying something along the lines of not having a particular style in place because of certain factors like player personal, opposition set-ups and so forth.Where did you see that?
Some posters seem to be on the edge tbh.Best just stay out of this thread, too many incompetent clowns here.
The manager is not the main problem. No matter which manager is here they will all have a hard time. It is the club that is the problem, the owners, Woodward, whoever does the transfer and contract negotiations. The whole club including the stadium is looking like it has seen better days.I am happy that the shit opinions here dont reflect the majority of the United fans.
