Totally agree. Changing the culture is a term used by many but I’ve not seen any one do it as well and as quickly under such pressure as Ole hasAnd he has represented the club with dignity, positivity and provided a value system and vision for the board, players and fans to buy into. In hindsight, it’s been a sheer MasterClass in transition management, putting previous masters like LVG and Mourinho into shame.
Absolutely bang on, and same here. You know what feels amazing.
I don’t need to feel ashamed. I don’t need to cringe over my old thoughts. I supported the club through it all.
I didn’t whine. I didn’t stomp my feet. I didn’t cry because Ole didn’t come with a fancy foreign title.
I supported a clearly good man. With the best interests in the club at heart.
as a result I feel great. I love it.
some people around here could learn a thing or two

I've heard this said about LVG and Mou in their first seasons. Downfall during their 2nd onwards. Moreso with LVG because he's a lot more positive than Mou who also had his natural haters.Since he does all the other stuff well(unlike every other manager post Fergie), he ought to be given a lot of time.
So Ole can only be good at managing a good team relative wise? poor at building/turning rubbish teams to be good?Ole always did well in the past when he had a good team relative to the league. Molde and the United reserves are good examples of this. My biggest "worries" was:
1. How will he deal with superstars/top players(man management)?
2. How will he deal with the media pressure?
3. How will he fare in the transfer market?
Said this in the game thread but him swapping Martial and Rashford's positions seems to have been a master stroke for both players. Martial is a lot more involved in every build up play, Rashford is thriving as a wide left forward without the responsibility of leading the line. Its a switch neither Van Gaal nor Mourinho saw coming but the later wasn't even invested in turning either of them into a success.
i don’t think anyone saw that coming, everyone was predicting the other way.Said this in the game thread but him swapping Martial and Rashford's positions seems to have been a master stroke for both players. This is my favourite post.Sir Alex: I will be a success at Man Utd
Impatient Haters: you've been here a few years you're not good enough.
Ole: I will be a success at this club
Impatient Haters: you're not good enough. Where is your tactics e.t.c
Sir Alex: I will trust in youth players and win every thing with them.
Impatient haters: you can't win anything with youth. You need to buy already established players.
Ole: I will trust in youth
Impatient haters: gone are the days of trusting in youth. Look at city, liverpool, madrid. Bla bla bla..
Sir Alex: (proceeds to win everything with youth players)
Impatient haters: we were supporting you all along.. (insert excuses)
Ole: 'to be continued'
Impatient haters: (starting to make up excuses for their impatient hating)
Go go MUFC
Indeed!You know what feels amazing.

It shows once more what believe, hard work and confidence in players can do for them. This is why I hated Jose and LVG, there was always friction between them. Not that Ole wouldnt be tough on them, but it seems like they are in this together.i don’t think anyone saw that coming, everyone was predicting the other way.
