Great days, me father was stood in the Stretford End when B L and C was playing, told me lots about the atmosphere and how everybody just through themselves downwards when United were attacking. After the attack he just looked back and everybody were going up again

Inside in the 60's. Loved that old scoreboard. Many memories at reserve games when I was a kid looking up under the "A" for United's first team score away. Stood under that scorebard at over 100 reserve games. Stretford End as I got older. Ya got me goin now van

There's a floodlight tower in this photo BR. I didn't think we got floodlights till a little later.

could some make photoshopped image of all of these put together and make a cool wallpaper out of it

Happy days started going in 65 to OT reguarly until mid 70s then posted to various parts of the world
Regular again from mid 80s
Not so regular now
Seen lots of changes to the ground
Got some pics somewhere in a box
I will try to find them, moved a few times, havnt seen the box for quite a few years, and old programmes etc
Valuable memories and not clutter or junk as described my wife

Somewhere on this forum is a wonderful picture from outside OT in the 1980s of the floodlights on full beam. Can't find it though :(

I used to stand right next to that first steel girder in the stretty all those years ago. When december came, the cold off it really hurt you. Its like nothing you can experience. Unfortunetly thats what sticks in my mind the most about those days...oh and a bad shot from chocky that hit me full in the face! :wenger:

Great pic Ralphie, the Stretford End celebrates. I think it's against Leeds March 77 can anybody confirm ?

Stuart (ugly) Houston, Jimmy Greenhoff, Sammy Mac, Martin Buchan, Gordon Hill, Pancho, Jimmy Nic and Lou Macari.

Thats the first United team that I really have memories of supporting...watching Pearson run up to the crowd and do his trademark windup fist pump was brilliant.
