ive only just started downloading the first megaupload link you gave me mate, so ill let you know how it is...

I used to be into 2step/UK Garage back in the day.. It became huge over here for a while then it kind of disappeared. This thread made me dig up a few old albums. Do you guys remember that MOS Ayia Napa album? Maybe a bit mainstream, but I used to love it.

Two great Wookie tunes.

Scrappy

What's going on?

Great thread. I ain't got time to read it all now but I skimmed through, heard a few as well ... Looks good.

I used to listen to a fair bit of UK Garage a few years back when listening to them 3 lads off Radio 1. - Dreem Team with DJ Spoony and what not - used to have like one of their long mixups somewhere too!

Think I had a Pure Garage album but am not sure if I still have it - will check later. Not sure if I know some of the proper old old stuff but some names I remember... Tubby T, Shy FX, MJ Cole, Wookie, Sticky, I think Ed Case had a decent one, Lonyo and of course Artful Dodger.

I'm not digging this stuff fellas, I tried though

Hectic, the Hip-Hop thread needs you man

finally got to d/l all the links - and i must say, i fecking love em, somore - i refuse is an amazing track!

got links for the latest pure garage (bit commercial, but even a tone-deaf person would appreciate EZ's mixing ability) if anyone wants it?

PS - did you get to buy those garage dvds i gave you the link for hecto? and are you planning on updating this thread mate?
peace out
